24/09/2014 - The National Flying Club young bird race was expected to be from Fougères, but due to bad weather on the Saturday the birds were brought back to Falaise and released on the Tuesday morning at 09.30am BST. 29/07/2013 - The National Flying Club race from Saintes on the 21st July 2013 was well supported by the members as 578 contributed to the 3,110 birds sent. The pigeons were liberated at 06.10am BST into a light north easterly wind.
