
First open and first section A was a yearling on 1311ypm over 116 miles for Buddy Shipp of Bedhampton. The dam of Buddy's winner is off Donkere Leo cock, a direct son of Donkere Leo x Princess Kittel. The sire is a Leo Hermans bred from a grand-daughter of Ivan Lowden's dream pair.

Lance Gunn of Southwick was second open and first section G with a two year old on 1299ypm over a distance of 138 miles. Lance's pigeon was bred by Bob Fenech from his outstanding Van Den Bulck family of pigeons. It was raced on the natural system and sent sitting five day old squeakers.

G Oliver and Son of Feltham timed two pigeons to take third and fifth open, first and second section D with a two year old on 1272ypm over 164 miles the first one to time. This was a blue hen, Carys, containing Smit van Winkle bloodlines from Sayers Brothers of Cleveland. It is bred from a son of second UNC 24,199 p. when paired to a daughter of Lacey, first UNC 13,064p. Second on the clock was a chequer pied Lambrecht hen bred by tony Osbourne from Birmingham.


John Halstead of Gillingham timed a six year old hen on 1263ypm over 103 miles to take fourth open and first section B. John's hen was first section BICC Guernsey seven days previously. The dam is his Vulcan hen, bred from a grandson of Reynaert's Figo x a Syndicate Loft's daughter of Theodore and Lucky Charm.

Paul Stowell of Basingstoke was sixth open and second section A with a six year old on 1207ypm over a distance of 136 miles. Paul timed a Noel Peiren x Etienne Devos hen bred from pigeons he bought direct. The sire is from Noel's Didi 930, whilst the dam is a hen out of Etienne's Rivaldo and Patrick, again with Didi bloodlines.

Booth and Roper of Tewkesbury were seventh open and first section C with a three year old on 1203ypm over 174 miles. The hen Trevor and John timed was bred from their family of Jan aardens and was sent sitting eggs.
Eighth open and second section C was a seven year old on 1198ypm over 143 miles for Mark and Clare Brown of Hungerford.

D Turner of Caple was ninth open and second section G with a two year old on 1153ypm over a distance of 151 miles. The sire of this pigeon was bred by Andy Parsons and the dam contains Tony Cowan's Bert Shepherd bloodlines. It is the dam of Clive's young bird winner.

Completing the top ten and in third section D is D Pembroke of Reading with a yearling on 1152ypm over 153 miles.

Lanahan and Gerard of Poole timed two pigeons to take second and third section B. First on the clock was a yearling on 1011ypm over 92 miles.
