Mark Gilbert of Windsor was first open and first CS section with a yearling on 1182mpm over a distance of 528 miles. Mark timed further pigeons to also take sixth open and third CS section and tenth open, fourth section on 1011mpm and 784mpm respectively. Overall Mark had six pigeons in the top seven of the section result. First on the clock was bred from a son of Sumerian Fighter, 1st international Barcelona x Luna-May, 5th international Barcelona. This was paired to a daughter of New Jade 1, from New Laureaat and Kleine Jade, both 1st international Barcelona x Romee, a national ace pigeon for Jellema.
G M Preece and Son of Dover were second open and first ES section with a two year old on 1078mpm over a distance of 503 miles. The partners timed a son of their great racer, Jack Jones, who was also second national from Agen in 2011.
Florin Petrica Bodale clocked a two year old on 1065mpm over a distance of 535 miles to take third open and second CS section. Florin timed a 75% Frealdenhofen / 25% Herman Brinkman pigeon from his friend Varga Lehel from Romania. It was prepared for Agen racing with the Harrow club and then into Guernsey, 175 miles.
SR and WH Knox of Tyler Hill were fourth open and second ES section with a three year old on 1047mpm over 513 miles. Bill's pigeon was sent to Guernsey in preparation for Agen.
John Chipperfield of Herne Bay timed a four year old on 1036mpm over 516 miles to take fifth open and third ES section.
J Nicholson and Son of Rochester were seventh open and fourth ES section with a five year old on 986mpm over a distance of 517 miles. The partners timed a second pigeon, a two year old, on 836mpm to also take eighth open and fifth ES section.
The Chambers Family of Cannock timed a two year old on 812mpm over 623 miles to take ninth open and first NW section. The partners timed another three pigeons to take next three section positions on 552, 541 and 297mpm respectively. First on the clock was a son of Twin 74 and Disaster Girl, both clocked multiple times from Tarbes, 660 miles. Second to time was a chequer hen, a daughter of the partner's top Van Ouwkerk-Dekker racing cock, Jac Smash, 2nd section, 61st open Tarbes 2018. Third section was a son of their Bergerac Hen, a multiple RPRA award winner.
Around the sections
The WS section winners were Clive and Jill Rogers and Neil Sales of Writhlington with a two year old hen on 741mpm over 536 miles. The section winner is bred from a Syndicate Lofts' Cor de Heidje cock when paired to a Crammond and Langstaff hen that was bred from Double Dutch and Starlight Melissa.
D and J Staddon of Ditcheat were second WS section with a two year old hen on 667mpm over a distance of 526 miles. The Staddon's hen was bred by Dean Pallatt at the Pallatt Elite Centre and was one of a group of youngsters Dean sent down for David and John to try in 2020. It contains 100% Jelle Jellema bloodlines.
John Black of Hitchen was first NC centre and thirty-fifth open with a two year old on 228mpm over a distance of 564 miles.
