Bart Geerinckx (Wommelgem, BE) wins 1st and 2nd Provincial Brive yearlings

The Geerinckx pigeons are super class racing birds. They showed their strength once again in a sun drenched race from Brive. The Geerinckx breed proved almost impossible to beat, as they went on to claim a double provincial victory yearlings. This is yet another impressive feat on the palmares of Bart Geerinckx.

The noble Geerinckx breed was carefully put together by his father Luc, and Bart is now achieving impressive results with this pigeon family, which consists of several Olympiad Pigeons, national first prize winners and national ace pigeons. This is a world class pigeon breed with an extensive palmares, both in their home loft and for many other fanciers worldwide.

Last weekend they put in another brilliant performance: they claimed a double provincial victory in the national long distance classic from Brive.

Olympiad Pigeon Gladiator: now grandfather of the 1st Prov. Brive

1st and 2nd Prov. Brive yearlings

The race took place in great weather, with almost no wind, and the Geerinckx pigeons are particularly strong in such conditions. They eventually managed to claim a double provincial victory in this year's Brive.

Interestingly enough, the two pigeons that claimed the double provincial victory originate both from the stock bloodlines of the Geerinckx loft: the two racing cocks are two grandsons of Miss Magic, 1st Olympiad Pigeon Allround in Nitra. The first racing bird originates from a pairing of Miss Magic with Olympiad Pigeon Gladiator, the second racing bird originates from Miss Magic paired to the invaluable stock breeder Wittekop Sylvester, and crossed with the world famous breeder New Freddy. We take a closer look at both these pigeons:

It goes without saying that Bart Geerinckx is running one of Belgium's most successful pigeon lofts. He has been adding prestigious first prizes and championship titles to his palmares every single season. Last weekend's double provincial first prize from Brive shows once again how talented the Geerinckx pigeon family really is. Congratulations to Bart and Jurgen.

Wittekop Sylvester is an invaluable breeder for this loft, and he is now the grandfather of the 2nd Prov. Brive
