First east section and first open was won by Lee Bastone from Burnham on Crouch on 1454mpm over 353km. Lee had three pigeons drop together so may well take the first three positions on the final result. First on the clock was a Staf Van Reet blue cock flown on the darkness system and sent driving its hen to nest. The grandsire of this cock is a previous winner of first open BICC. The Staf Van Reet bloodlines go back to Tony Mardon's Radar.
Meg Murray
Meg Murray of Burnham on Crouch was second east section and second open on 1453.7mpm over a distance of 353km. Meg also had three pigeons drop together, the first two of which were gift birds from the race winner, Lee Bastone. First to time was a blue cock, the sire of which is a son of the Lambrecht Kingpin. The dam is a daughter of a national winner crossed with a BICC winner, both containing Gaby Vandenabeele bloodlines.
Third east section and third open was won by Martin Jones of Stanford le Hope on 1453.4mpm over 309km. Martin timed Birthday Girl, bred from a direct daughter of Olympic Wolverine, purchased from Derek Walsh of Ireland, when paired to a son of the Nearly Cock of Scammell and Peploe. This hen was an April bred darkness youngster.
John Cowlin
John Cowlin of Hullbridge was fourth east section and fourth open on 1447mpm over a distance of 326km. John clocked a Formula One Lofts bred Frans Zwols pigeon direct from the ace breeding cock 70. The dam is Argon Girl, a top breeding hen responsible for many winners.
Chris Kavanagh of Oxted timed a young bird on 1444mpm over 266km to take fifth east section and fifth open. Chris' winner is a blue cock, raced on the darkness system and then paired and sent to Guernsey sitting a squeaker. The sire was bred by Colin King of Selsdon.

Micky Watts of Southminster was sixth east section and sixth open with a young bird on 1434mpm over a distance of 338km. Micky clocked a youngster from his multi national winning family of pigeons containing M and D Evans Vandenabeele bloodlines.
John & Teresa Gladwin
Gladwin, Jarvis and Family were seventh east section and seventh open on 1432km over 323km. The Galdwins had seven out of the twenty-five they sent, drop onto the trap together. All seven were Formula One Lofts bred Frans Zwols pigeons.
Eighth east section and eighth open went to A Hammon and Son of Burnham on Sea on 1431km over a distance of 353km.
Ted Robinson
Ted Robinson of Orpington was ninth east section and ninth open with a youngster on 1426mpm over a distance of 278km. Ted timed a darkness youngster sent sitting overdue eggs and containing Staf Van Reet bloodlines.
D Wilton & Son
Completing the top ten and in tenth east section is D Wilton and Son from Chadwell St Mary on 1425mpm over 301km. Robbie and Andrew's timer was bred for them by Andy Cook of Hull and the sire is a grandson of Rick Hermans' Cow Girl. The dam is a sister to Danny van Dykes champion racer.

T & J Gunn
First centre section and twelfth open was won by T and J Gunn of Rottingdean on 1415mpm over 229km. Tracey and Jordan clocked a Van Loon cross pigeon that was bred by Lee Sullivan of Brighton. This cock was sent to Guernsey feeding two small squeakers.
Malik & Khan
Malik and Khan of Tolworth were second centre section and fifteenth open on 1412mpm over a distance of 264km. The sire of the partner's winner is Dakota, a son of Tipsey when it was paired to a daughter of Mark Gilbert's Golden Gaby. The dam is Tip Top Ace, a super breeding hen from Frans Zwols.
Ken Wise of Isleworth was third centre section and twenty-third open on 1379mpm over a distance of 269km.
Chris & Jane Howse
C and J Howse of Devizes were first west section and one hundred and forty-seventh open with a youngster on 935mpm over a distance of 206km. Chris had two pigeons arrive together and first on the clock was a Soontjen based hen. Second to time was an inbred grand-daughter of the certificate of merit winner, Merit Man.
Clive & Jill Rogers & Neil Sales
Second west section and one hundred and fifty-sixth open was won by Clive and Jill Rogers and Neil Sales of Writhlington on 789mpm over 202km. The partners clocked a dark chequer hen bred from a pair of pigeons purchased from the late Dennis Ford of Blaenavon.
T & F Baressi of Peasdown St John were third west section and one hundred and sixtieth open on 739mpm over 203km. Tony and Frank clocked a chequer Brasspenning hen, flown on the darkness system.
David Paine
David Paine of St Neots was the north-centre section winner and fifty-ninth open with a young bird on 1278mpm over 342km. David clocked a blue cock, bred by a friend and containing Vandenabeele bloodlines. It was raced on the darkness system, flying back to a perch.
Second north-centre section and eighty-fourth open was P S Wraight of Bluntisham on 1232mpm over 365km. This pigeon contains Dave Stanway's Walter Dockx bloodlines and was raced on the natural system.
Third north-centre section and ninty-second open went to Mr and Mrs M Smith of Rushden on 1203mpm over 338km. The partners timed a Leo Van Rhijn hen containing Brian and Karen Hawes' bloodlines.
Jeremy Nicholson
Jeremy Nicholson of Ipswich was the north-east section winner and thirty-seventh open on 1326mpm over a distance of 382km. Jeremy clocked a Louis Cooreman hen, the dam of which was Ace Sprinter in the Norfolk and Suffolk South Road club. The grandsire is White Tail, bred by Owen Jones of Gorseinon.
Second north-east section and thirty-eighth open was Mr J Davis of Hepworth on 1320mpm over 398km. Jimmy timed a blue hen, raced on the darkness system. The sire was gifted to him by Paul Liman of Barking, whilst the dam is a Staf Van Reet of Keith Arnold bloodlines.
Philip Harrod of Lowestoft was third north-east section and fortieth open on 1317mpm over a distance of 443km. This pigeon was bred from the bloodlines of George Bowyer of Congleton. It was raced on the darkness system and was on its second race from Guernsey this season.
Booth & Roper
The north-west section winners and in one hundred and fifty-second open were Booth and Roper of Tewkesbury with a youngster on 875mpm over 282km. The sire of the section winner was bred by Alen Gibb of Gloucester and contains the bloodlines of Southfield Supreme and also those of Geoff and Catherine Cooper. The dam is bred down from Louella Jan Aarden stock.
Raymond Scriven of Alveley was second north-west section and one hundred and fifty-third open on 872mpm over 331km. Ray timed a pigeon containing Mark Gilbert's Deweerdt bloodlines. Raced on the darkness system, this pigeon was a prize winner in a breeder/buyer race from Guernsey earlier in the season.
John Rodway of Rushwick was third north-west section and one hundred and fifty-ninth open on 743mpm over 214km. John timed a blue bar hen raced on the natural system.
