Peter Janssen's impressive results have been extensively discussed over the years, and his remarkable achievements have continued to surprise friends and foes over the years. In 2016 alone he has won six provincial races and no less than 15 teletext prizes. He has shown to be in great form in 2017 as well, delivering results that spark the imagination. His success story is founded on a select group of exceptionally talented pigeons. Peter has always been looking for pigeons with great value, and his ingenious strategy has enabled him to achieve a level of performance which his opponents are genuinely impressed with. Peter sold his breeding birds in a sensational pigeon auction a while ago but these same breeders continue to be at the basis of his current achievements. Gaston van de Wouwer (Berlaar, BE) became an internationally renowned fancier thanks to the youngsters and grandchildren of Kaasboer, and this explains why Peter wanted to obtain some youngsters of this invaluable breeder as well. Der Beste is a direct son of the legendary breeding pair Da Vinci x Special Blue, and he is most notably the sire of Miss Dolce Vita in Peter's breeding loft.
