It seems as if Nico van Noordenne is destined to finish up high in the national championship middle distance very season. Between 2010 and 2015 he took a top ten prize in the middle distance in The Netherlands three consecutive times, which is quite an achievement. However, his success story in the middle distance had already begun in 2004, the year in which his Torero became 1st National Ace Pigeon middle distance NPO and 2nd National Ace Pigeon middle distance WHZB. Nico considers his Torero NL01-5151021 to be the best breeding pigeon in his collection. Torero was a remarkable pigeon already as a racing bird, winning the title of 1st National Ace Pigeon middle distance in 2004. In addition, he finished in second place in the national ace pigeon competition middle distance in the prestigious WHZB competition. These are some of his best results:

One of the youngsters of Torero in the overview above is Alonso, which we will take a closer look at, to give you an idea of the breeding value of super class breeder Torero. Alonso was 1st Ace Pigeon middle distance ZH-East, having won a first prize in the province from Creil against 13,852 pigeons. In the meantime he has also demonstrated his value as a breeder. For instance, he is the sire of NL09-100 Nessaja, 1st Ace Pigeon middle distance ZH-East Rayon A in 2010. It appears that Alonso has followed in the footsteps of his sire.
An impressive reference
Another magnificent son of Alonso is NL14-1071912 Nico. This great looking witpen cock was bred by Nico Van Noordenne, and was transferred to the loft of Mark van de Berg (IJsselmuiden, NL).

Nico already has an impressive palmares after only a fairly short time in the racing loft. His achievements allowed him to win the title of 11th Ace Pigeon young birds national Fondspiegel in his year of birth (2014), along with the title of 14th National Ace Pigeon young birds WHZB/TBOTB 2014. The aforementioned Chanel 555 has bred No Limit in 2009. This pigeon has won a 1st Creil in the province against 12,243 pigeons. Click here for the pedigree of No Limit. The breeding hen Amazing Surprise bred another top quality pigeon with a different partner: she was paired to the cock Mr. Prima when she became the dam of another ace pigeon called Amazing 402. This pigeon won the titles of 1st Ace Pigeon middle distance ZH-East, 5th National Ace Pigeon middle distance NPO and 5th National ACe Pigeon WHZB-TBOTB. This makes her dam Amazing Surprise a really invaluable breeding hen.
