The National Federation of Pigeon Fanciers in Romania held their 39th edition of the National Pigeon Show in Oradea

On the 20th and 21th of January, The National Federation of Pigeon Fanciers in Romania held their 39th edition of the National Pigeon Show in Oradea. Oradea is one of the most interesting places to visit in Romania and it was the perfect location for such a great event. The best racing pigeons in Romania could be admired during this National Exhibition.

Also the Romanian team, who will represent the federation in the Central Europe Exhibition in Slovakia, was present.

The National Romanian Federation (FNCPR) was founded in 1937 by Major Traian Nitescu, who imported valuable racing pigeons for those times.  Up until today, pigeons with a big value were imported in Romania by big investors like Florea Sorin, Cosmin Olteanu and many more. These pigeons have to pass harsh selections in order to be able to race in the high mountains and very high temperature during summer in Romania.

On Saturday evening, the Champions Gala took place. It is the most impressive pigeon event in Europe. The Gala was presented by famous number 1 TV presenter Andreea Marin. She became the face of the event by being present for many years on the stage of the Champions Gala.

The Federation is honoured to present you the film of the Champions Gala and some pictures which reflect the high class of the event and the Romanian pigeon sport.
