06/06/2013 - The National Flying Club in the UK raced from Cholet on the 1st June 2013. 6,462 birds, sent by 865 members were released at 6.45am BST into a light north west wind with good visibility. The provisional result is as follows.
25/07/2012 - Six hundred and forty eight fanciers entered a total of three thousand, six hundred and fourteen birds into the National Flying Club race from Saintes. The birds were liberated at 06.30 hrs UK time into light north to north west winds and good visibility. After gaining height they cleared well to the north.
06/07/2012 - Six hundred and fifty five members of the National Flying Club entered two thousand eight hundred and eight birds into the prestigious race from Tarbes.With poor weather over France on the Friday the birds were held over and finally released at 13.45 hrs on the Saturday meaning even the shortest of flyers would have pigeons nighting out.
22/06/2012 - The Messac national race was held over from the Saturday due to low pressure and rain over much of the UK. Conditions were much more favourable on the Sunday with west to south west winds and good visibility throughout. The five thousand seven hundred birds were liberated at 6.00 am and cleared well to the north.
