In 2023, the athletes of De Saer had another strong season, from the preparatory speed races to the races which it was all about. Especially the performance on National Limoges was exceptional: against more than 10,000 pigeons De Saer placed his first two nominated pigeons as 15th and 36th! In summer with northeasterly winds this racing team showed themselves, the rest of the season was also completed at an impressive level:

Especially the descendants of Black Lola (BE10-3155220) make that top results at the De Saer household seem like everyday business. Black Lola is the second stock hen - after 'T Goedje - and still active as a breeder despite being 13 years old. When taking a closer look at the stars from the 2023 season, Milan (BE19-3039571) was without doubt one of them. He became 9th National Ace Pigeon KBDB Long Distance Old birds and played an important role in winning the title of 8th National Champion KBDB Long Distance with 1st & 2nd Nominated pigeons. Moreover, Milan became 13th Best pigeon across 5 races and 23rd Best pigeon across 4 long distance races in Belgium in 2023. He won seven (9th-15th-22nd-79th-150th-156th-207th) national top results, each time against thousand of pigeons. One of the country's greatest long distance stars. Not a huge surprise knowing he is a grandson of the illustrious New Tours (BE10-3020802) 1st National Cahors, a wonder pigeon which has ensured countless successes in Ruiselede and elsewhere.
Jamal (BE20-3092578) also stood in the spotlight as co-winner of the title 8th National Champion Long Distance 2023. His results include two club victories from Brive in addition to 3rd Chateauroux 987 p. - 5th Prov. Brive 1,181 p. - 6th Limoges 364 p. - 7th Prov. Souillac - 7th Nat. Brive 6,177 p. - 26th Prov. Chateauroux 7,547 p., ...he is another grandchild of one of the super breeders from the De Saer colony, this time from Champion (BE09-3040476). This champion is father of 1st-2nd-17th National Limoges! The link is quickly made to his mother: stock hen 'T Goedje (BE05-3177035). In other words, Jamal is a typical De Saer pigeon, descending from the best bloodlines and proven his worth with sensational results.
Blacky (BE20-3092661) also delivered in 2023. This 3 year old crack has several top results on her palmares including 2nd Orleans 942 p. and 6th Prov. against a staggering 13,159 pigeons, 11th Nat. Brive - 36th Nat. Limoges - 48th Nat. Perigieux, ... even on short and middle distance races Blacky showed to have what it takes. Father Blacky is Loco (BE19-3039586) son Neymar JR. He is thereby a grandson of Neymar (BE17-3075066). His pedigree also leads us to the previously mentioned Black Lola.

Jack (BE20-3092604) became 3rd Provincial Ace Pigeon KBDB Long Distance 2023, 7th Best pigeon across 4 long distance races and 12 Best pigeon across 5 long distance races. With a coefficient of barely 0,92% this crack finished 6th PIPA Ranking across 2 races from Tulle in 2022 and 2023. As if that wasn't enough, Jack also became Best Limoges pigeon in Belgium in 2023 and 2022 - 2 prizes (0.83%).
Besides a Provincial victory from Limoges, Jack has achieved many top results. In the Club he already won on Tulle: 1st against 181 p. and Limoges: 1st against 310 p. On a provincial level his results include a/o 1st Prov. Limoges 1,456 p. - 2nd Tulle 706 p. - 22nd Prov. Orleans 14,198 p. - 77th Prov. Chateauroux 5,076 p., ...
