Team BDS (BE)
All old birds from 2021 and older + youngsters from special pairs
Exactly 11 years ago, Dirk Speybroeck, Dr. Piet Blancke and Bart Declerck decided to join forces as Team BDS. Through phenomenal performances on provincial and national heavy middle distance races – including provincial and zonal victories – they worked towards their absolute highlight; winning 1st National Agen against 4,405 old birds (fastest of 9,740 pigeons) and 1st International Agen against 4,269 hens in 2017. From 2018 onwards, their focus was on long distance racing (500-800km), with exceptional achievements as a result! Icons such as Double Kaasboer, Lady Agen, Lady Narbonne, Ace Verschoot, Silver Monty and Bronze Aurillac became renowned names throughout pigeon sport.
The past 10 years seemed to have built up to the absolute top season of Team BDS in 2022. With continuous top results and 1st Prizes flying in. Absolute highlight of the season was the National victory on Issoudun YL and 2x 1st Zonal from Bourges and La Souterraine. When the ace pigeon competition ranks became evident, Team BDS was again a amongst the best, resulting in the following highlights from 2022:

Late 2021, all Team BDS pigeons from 2018 and older were auctioned on PIPA. The remaining pigeons were prepared for a grand finale in 2022, the last season racing under the name of Team BDS. Subsequently, a load of talent, all pigeons from 2019-2020-2021 - in addition to several 2022 young birds from exclusive pairs - will now be available in auction. Including the above mentioned 1st Prize winners and Ace Pigeons. The pigeons responsible for the super season in 2022. Pigeons at their peak, in the form of their lives.
Besides the exceptional performances of these pigeons, Team BDS decided to select the pigeons they offer in auction on physical characteristics as well. Through this extra selection procedure, they find only the highest quality pigeons will be available in auction. No pigeon with a score lower than 9 will be offered in auction, at the request of Team BDS themselves.
