The Thibaut-Boons combination has been among the best middle distance loft from Belgium for several years. The numerous top prizes obtained in the national championships from Belgium, both in the nominated championships as with the ace pigeons, illustrate this perfectly. For several years Jean-Marc was in fact the only fancier from the French speaking part of Belgium to classify himself in the great middle distance championships, a discipline mostly dominated by Flanders. This year the performances of this loft in the races of more than 400 kilometers are again well above average. The birds from the loft of Thibaut-Boons are actually having a great season and things will get even better in the coming weeks.
Fantastic arrivals from Nevers & Argenton
Released on Saturday 17th of June, the interprovincial race from Nevers was organized with 10,702 pigeons so it was a success for the organisators. The race was perfect with the highest speed just under the 1,300 m/min. It was an excellent opportunity to test the fitness of your team, mostly for the yearlings, of which there were no less than 5,997. The fanciers decided to enter their birds in large numbers. At the end, the performance of the Thibaut-Boons combination was the strongest. In just 10 minutes' time Jean-Marc was lucky enough to clock 7 very early pigeons. It was mostly his yearlings that achieved a top results with the three first prizes at provincial level and three top 5 at interprovincial level. What a demonstration of strength!

After such a performance, the pigeons were getting a boost in confidence. One week later, Jean-Marc went to the club to basket his team for the next national race. It was another top performance for his team:

Dam: ‘Vikie’ (BE14-1011784), which for example finished 3rd National Ace Bird Longer Middle Distance KBDB ’15 and 1st National Ace Bird LCB ’15. ‘Vikie’ was bred from ‘GSon Nels’ x ‘GDaughter Vieux Pros’, so the old stock foundation again.

Everything seems to be going well in Sombreffe. We are curious to see what will come from the next racing weekends. Jean-Marc is once again in pole position for several championship titles but he still needs to get some additional results in July. We are convinced he will be able to do so.
