However, a lot of pigeons fanatics asked themselves what level Jean-Marc's loft would reach in 2013!
Remember : the entire colony, breeders and racers, was sold in December 2012 on our website. Still, Jean-Marc kept all his young birds born in 2012, the same pigeons who seem to be fit and well actually. They are nothing but children, brothers/sisters, nephew/nieces from the pigeons which gave the Thibaut-Boons colony worldwide recognition and which were sold last year.
Of course, Jean-Marc used the same system, the same method and his racing team were all descendants from his best pigeons… but still… would he find some classy racers? Will the pigeons follow a good rhythm? So many questions he thought about after his auction and which made him become a very anxious man.
Now that we are in the middle of the 2013 season, it’s time to take a look at the first achievements. It has been a few weeks since Jean-Marc forgot his fears as his 2012 generation is working hard! In fact, a lot of victories have been won week after week and, in his province, our friend is back to his high level of performance. The pigeons are in great shape and the first half of the 2013 harvest is perfect. He is satisfied by this and he is now gently preparing for the next half of the season. His youngsters from 2013 will be quickly raced and everybody knows that he likes to race his young birds. Their mission will be to represent their loft and they are the future of this pigeon breed. We think that Jean-Marc will perhaps achieve a national victory with his young birds, maybe a big victory the like of which he is always dreaming… why not? Congratulations!
