John keeps sixteen cocks that he races on widowhood and to the hens that are racing. His winning hen was bred for him by Peter Hornby of Leeds after he had a disaster with youngsters in 2019. It contains Gary Inkley's bloodlines.

Mr and Mrs R Skinner of Boston timed a yearling on 1083mpm over 209 miles to take second open and second NC section. Darren and Jackie have now topped the section twice in two races with the BICC.

Mark Gilbert of Windsor was third open and first CS section with a two year old on 1054mpm over a distance of 303 miles. Mark's winner was bred from a son of Southfield Junior, first BICC Pau, 7th NFC Ancensis. The dam came from Starlight, 2nd international Tarbes when paired to Melissa, 1st international Agen.

Terry Haley of Watford was second CS section with a two year old on 1004mpm over 288 miles. Terry's pigeon was second open BBC Blaydon last weekend, beaten to the top spot by a nestmate and it was his single nomination pigeon from Berwick. The cock is called Miles Apart and was bred by Kevin Henstock from Sutton in Ashfield and purchased as a baby in the Spelthorne breeder buyer.

Dennis Wood of Greenford clocked a two year old on 696mpm over 300 miles to take third CS section. Dennis timed a Cattrysse hen that was turned north this year after two seasons racing south. It was bred by his son, Gary Wood, from his stock pigeons and was raced on the roundabout system.

T and A Wilson of Bishops Stortford were first ES section with a two year old on 945mpm over 281 miles. Trevor and Adrian timed a blue hen named Fatty, the sire of which was bred by their friend Alan Wicker and which has scored six x first club. Fatty contains Alan's Magic Man bloodlines. The dam is Sonia, bred by Mark Bulled of Harlow.

D Dumitrascu of Basildon timed a yearling on 919mpm over 308 miles to take second ES section. Darius' hen was sent sitting eggs. Its breeding on the sire's side is Luc de Roeck x Eric Limburg and on the dam's it is Duijvestijn-Piepke x Theunis Embregts.

Dean Childs of Wickford was third ES section with a two year old on 914mpm over a distance of 307 miles. Dean timed a cock inbred to Tuff Nut bred by Terry Robinson and the dam is a hen that he bred himself containing Mark Gilbert bloodlines.

Clive and Jill Rogers and Neil Sales of Radstock were first WS section with a two year old, chequer cock on 910mpm over 310 miles. This cock was bred from the Compton Bassett Missiles family of Richard Green and Anna Cowley when crossed with a Bill Keay hen. The partner's birds were raced on the chaos version of widowhood and fed on Versele Laga and Vanrobaeys corns.

Geoff and Catherine Cooper of Peasdown St John were second WS section with a three year old inbred grandson of Farmer George on 876mpm over 308 miles. It also contains the bloodlines of Wollongong, New Laureaat, Special One and Kliene Jade. It has previously scored in the section and open from Pau.

David and John Staddon of Ditcheat timed a two year old on 865mpm over 321 miles to take third WS section. The partners timed a chequer cock, a full brother to Fahrenheit, 23rd BICC Pau and 2nd BICC Rieux Minervois. His sire is a son of Pearler from Barry and Peter Winter and the dam is a daughter of Bill and Beryl Lewis' Freelands Gem.

L and A Milne of Sutton were third NC section with a three year old on 1026mpm over 153 miles. Lewis and Angela are helped by daughter Eva. Their cock contains numerous bloodlines and was also in the clock from Hexham earlier in the season. It is a grandson of their third open national winner from Bordeaux.
Mr and Mrs Kingswood of Huttoft clocked a three year old on 1049mpm over 195 miles to take first NE section. This is Daren and Jackie's second section win in only two races with the BICC. They timed a dark chequer hen that was one of a kit of six they bought in a charity sale from a fancier called Cliff of Rotherham. In the event Cliff bred them a round of sixteen youngsters

Robert Frew of New Costessey was second NE section with a two year old on 1023mpm over 252 miles. Bob had two cocks drop together and first to time was a pigeon he had from an egg from clubmate Dave Hicks which contains Jonan Donkers bloodlines. Next on the clock was a cock bred by Mickey Betts of Doncaster.
D Hicks of Mattishall timed a four year old on 1021mpm over 247 miles to take third NE section. David timed an Irish rung Van Loon hen bred by Bill Walsh. It was flown on the celibate x widowhood system and has never been bred from.

The NW section winners were Mr and Mrs Shaw of Crewe with a two year old on 916mpm over a distance of 187 miles. For their second section win, Nigel and Wendy timed a Herman Ceusters hen bred by David Sara. It was ninth section from Penzance the week before.

Booth and Roper of Tewkesbury timed a four year old on 915mpm over 260 miles to take second NW section. John and Trevor timed a widowhood cock flying 70 miles further than the section winner. It is bred from Brian Sheppard's Leon bloodlines when crossed with Jan Aarden from Louella Pigeon World.
John Rodway of Rushwick was third NW section with a three year old hen on 906mpm over 248 miles. It was racing unpaired and was John's third bird back from Penzance the previous weekend.
