
First open and first east section was a four year old hen on 728mpm over 578 miles for Lee and Kevin Buddle of Dover. The Buddles were also the Marseille winners in 2019. The winning pigeon is named Daphne and was flown on the widowhood system. Daphne's sire is a full brother to Triple Two, which was first open BBC Barcelona is 2019. The dam is a daughter of Elsa, first open BICC Narbonne in 2014.


A and T Wright of Norwich timed a yearling on 673mpm over 671 miles to take second open and first north-east section. Allan and Tom timed Sylvia, bred from a pair of pigeons from the late David Hales and Duncan Goodchild. Sylvia was paired to another hen and sent sitting ten day eggs.

Preece and Son of Dover clocked two pigeons to take third and fifth open, second and fourth east section. Both were three year olds flying 580 miles on 636mpm and 412mpm respectively. First on the clock was a chequer cock, raced on the widowhood system. It contains three quarters Bernd Morsnowski bloodlines, blended with those of Jack Jones and Wiggins. Second to time was a grandson to Jack Jones, the partner's thirteen times international racer. This is fifty percent Morsnowski bloodlines crossed with Jack Jones.

F Knowles and Son of Wingham clocked a five year old on 492mpm over 588 miles to take fourth open and third east section.

Lyden Brothers of Sandwich were sixth open and fifth east section with a four year old on 408mpm over a distance of 586miles. Jeff's hen was bred from their old family of pigeons on the sire's side, including Corporal, whilst the dam was purchased from John Halstead and was an inbred, double grand-daughter of Ashley, second open Barcelona.

J Nicholson and Son of Rochester timed a six year old on 390mpm over a distance of 606 miles to take seventh open and sixth east section. The partners timed Polly, a hen competing in her eighth international race. Polly is bred down from top Palamos and Barcelona pigeons.
