ルクデ・ロエック - マナージュ(ベルギー)、長年にわたりスポーツの最上部に!

The cannibal from Manage achieved another great season. This is what characterises the Luc's loft : the consistency he has shown over many decades.

Over more than 30 years of pigeon sport, Luc can look back on a successful pigeon career. He has (almost) achieved everything especially with two national victories, a few semi-national victories, tons of victories at zonal & provincial level, a title of national champion, hundreds of regional, provincial & interprovincial titles, etc. In short, he is at the head of one of the most prestigious loft in the french speaking part of Belgium and one of the most competitive all round lofts in the country where the pigeon sport was born. He is a sensational manager whose talents as a pigeon breeder are well respected by his closest opponents. However, his reputation has not reaqlly crossed the borders of Belgium. This is simply due to the personnality of this pigeon fanatic, a modest genteman who never sought for publicity and money around his pigeons. What a pity, as his pigeons really deserve it. They are in fact able to win first prizes from 100 up to 1,000 kilometers and when the flying conditions are hard, his pigeons are simply flying harder. Have a look yourself while checking the national top 10 won since 2010 :

1st Orange national 4.496 p. ‘10
2nd Brive national 10.082 p. ‘11
4th Montélimar national 6.713 p. ‘12
4th Pau national 1.989 p. ‘12
6th Pau national 2.338 p. ‘11
8th Chateauroux national 25.263 p. ‘11

This capacity to fly all sorts of distances is the result of many years of research in breeding. Because Luc is firstly really impassioned by the breeding. Like in most of the most reputable lofts worldwide, the success is simply due to the discovery of a superior breeder or a golden pair. In Manage, the success formula was found thanks to a pair formed by Le Daems and La Vaneenoo. They have a big influence on the lofts even ten years later. The first descendants of this golden pair who were high in the rankings were, a.o. Kiley the Montélimar (1st national Montélimar 8.538 p. '04) or the super L'As du Rhône (1st Ace Pigeon Road of the Rhône with a.o. 4th national Marseille 4.398 p. '05), two brothers both born in 2001. But the result was simply exceptional with the pigeons born in the second, third and fourth generations. Let's take for example L'Orange (a grandson who won a.o. the 1st national Orange 4.496 p. '10 and 4 x into the top 100 national), The Derby (a great-grandson with a 2nd national Brive 10.082 p. '11 and a 14th national Limoges 14.211 p. to his performance list). We are talking about pigeons who easily achieve top prizes in large numbers of pigeons at the national level!

It's also the case of the Bourges, one of the best pigeons of the loft who made history in 2008 when he did a hat-trick at the famous championships of La colombophilie belge (LCB). This pigeon is the purest example of the prototype of the De Roeck pigeon nowadays, pigeons able to win a first prize from Soissons to Barcelona!

Father: Demi Tardif (Son of the Cahors x Pollin hen)
Mother: Daughter of the Daems (The Daems x Grand-daughter of the Cahors)
A mix between the best lines of the loft with the Pollin hen, a golden breeding hen, The Daems who is nothing but the cock of the golden pair, crossed with the inevitable line of the Cahors, the best pigeon of the '90's.

In 2008, he was probably the best yearling who has ever flown in the skies of Belgium! He even could have been selected for the Olympiad but his owner probably didn't notice that he had the chances to go. As he doesn't keep his eyes on the championships, we can easily forgive him!
