Yesterday Davy Tournelle made a great result from the interprovincial race Blois, 461km. Special Lady was the fastest pigeon of 4,666 pigeons. She is a double granddaughter to his superbreeder Torres.

Aged of 84 years, Michel Dauchez just decided to call it quits. In France, he is considered as one of the best sprint and middle distance racers from the history of our sport thanks to a career of 40 years. His success, he owes it thanks to an exceptionnal strain built around the pigeons of the Janssen brothers from Arendonk.

The pigeon to hold first place in the PIPA ranking over the first three national races of 2019 is none other than Blauwe Witoog BE17-6053446. In addition, the team's first and second nominated were the first pigeons to be clocked both in Bourges and Chateauroux. A touch of class!

Last year, Rik Cools basketed 35 pigeons for Châteauroux. As many as 32 of them were able to claim an interprovincial top prize, including a 1st and 2nd of 2,714 old birds.

Both the 2017 and 2018 season have been terrific for Guy Van der Auwera from Gooreind in the north of Antwerp. And his 2019 season is already turning out to be a major success as well, thanks to his national first prize in the yearlings' race from Bourges!

They claimed two first prizes in the region from Bierges and Lessines, along with several other top prizes, and they were outstanding again on 18th of May, finishing in second and third place of 11,709 pigeons in the teletext race from Sezanne.

The first national race of 2019 was an instant success for our national number one. We saw an incredible display of strength, with team Vandenheede winning 1-2-3 National old birds and a 1-2 National Yearlings from Vierzon. These were in fact the five fastest pigeons in the race overall. How about that!

We are four weeks into the new season, and Annick Goeteyn has consistently been in the lead group. It resulted in a first prize from Clermont, as well as three second places from Arras and Clermont. She yet again settled for second place provincial in the first provincial race of 2019.
