Thailand Pigeon Racing Association promotes Thai international one loft races in new 'Thailand Year Book'

The Thailand Pigeon Racing Association, established to promote pigeon racing both at home and abroad, has decided to publish a new book. The first edition of the Thailand Year Book will promote the three international one loft races in Thailand: the Thailand World Championship, the Pattaya International Pigeon Race and the Thailand Grand Pigeon Race.

The Thailand Pigeon Racing Association (TPRA) was established some time ago by six organisations: the Thai Homing Pigeon Federation, the Racing Pigeon International Association, the Pigeon Racing Club, the Thailand World Championship, the Thailand Grand Pigeon Race and the Pattaya International Pigeon Race. The objective was to have a national organisation which could promote Thai pigeon racing abroad. As one of their first initiatives, the TPRA has decided to publish a new book, called Thailand Year Book. The first edition will promote the three international one loft races of the country: the Thailand World Championship (December 2017), the Pattaya International Pigeon Race (January 2018) and the Thailand Grand Pigeon Race (January 2018). In addition, the book will contain articles on local Thai pigeon racing as well as useful information on pigeons which have excelled anywhere in the world. Next to the year book initiative, the TPRA will support the old birds races and will help local fanciers record their pigeons' descents so they can use pedigrees to improve their breeding strategy.
