Auctions raise 306,050 euro overall - Hardy Krüger 2,380 euro/bird

The following auctions came to a close on Sunday 9th and Monday 10th of February: Shaun McDonough (UK), Frans Bungeneers (BE), Dean Pallatt (UK), Rutz & Sons (DE), Hardy Krüger (DE), BDS-team (BE), Veuve-Delbruyère (BE), Chris Debacker (BE) & Embregts-Theunis (NL).

Shaun McDonough (UK) - 205 pigeons - 899 euro/bird
One of Great Britain's leading pigeon lofts opted to organise their total sale on PIPA. This total sale of Shaun McDonough, which includes 205 pigeons, had an overall revenue of 184,350 euro. The most expensive bird is Cranky 1; he was sold to China for 5,800 euro.

Frans Bungeneers (BE) - 6 pigeons - 2,333 euro/bird
Frans's special and select Barcelona auction raised 14,000 euro in total. The most wanted pigeon was a son of Elena; she will be moving to a Dutch loft. The other five pigeons are about to be transferred to Belgium (3), Romania (1) and Japan (1).

Dean Pallatt (UK) - 15 pigeons - 1,457 euro/bird
Many extreme long distance fanciers were looking forward to this auction, in which several renowned long distance birds would be offered for sale. Dean bred a special round of youngsters from his best lines. The pairing of MG430 x Daughter Jill proved particularly popular: their youngster was the most expensive bird today. It went to Great Britain for 2,400 euro. The remaining 14 pigeons were sold to fanciers from The Netherlands (4), Great Britain (2), Taiwan (2), Ireland (2), Belgium (1), China (1), Germany (1) and Macau (1).

Rutz & Sons (DE) - 8 pigeons - 956 euro/bird
The German Olympiad competitors for 2019 auctioned off eight pigeons, and these were sold for 7,650 euro. One of these Olympiad Pigeons was also the fastest bird in this collection: sale 1, which went to a fellow German fancier for 1,400 euro. The new owners come from Germany (4), Poland (1), Belgium (1), Taiwan (1) and Macau (1).

Hardy Krüger (DE) - 10 pigeons - 2,380 euro/bird
Hardy's pigeons are clearly outstanding in One Loft Racing. And many fanciers are well aware of this, judging from the many bids. Hardy auctioned off two youngsters of Miss Black in this special auction. One of them was sold for 4,000 euro, to a nearby loft in Germany. The other fanciers come from nine different countries: Canada (1), China (1), the Czech Republic (1), Germany (1), Great Britain (1), Mexico (1), Poland (1), Qatar (1) and South Africa (1).

BDS-team (BE) - 9 pigeons - 1,306 euro/bird
As many as nine different Kaasboer descendants were summoned for this BDS team auction. These nine birds were sold for 11,750 euro overall, with the most expensive one going to Taiwan for 2,300 euro. The new owners come from Belgium (3), China (2), Taiwan (2), South Africa (1) and Argentina (1).

Veuve-Delbruyère (BE) - 2 pigeons - 4,700 euro/bird
The national victory in Bourges of 7,254 pigeons in 2019 was an absolute highlight in the pigeon racing career of Roger Delbruyère. The two parents of this fantastic national winner were offered for sale on PIPA, and they both went to a Taiwanese fancier. The sire was sold for 4,200 euro, the dam for 5,200 euro.

Chris Debacker (BE) - 12 pigeons - 1,554 euro/bird
One of the reasons why Chris gained an excellent reputation, is that his pigeons can make a difference in any loft. That explains why so many fanciers were eager to one of his pigeons. The most expensive bird was Belinda; this racing bird goes to Taiwan for 4,000 euro. The most expensive young bird was Nick Jr., a young racing cock inbred to Nick. He goes to China for 2,100 euro. The pigeons were sold to fanciers from Belgium (4), Taiwan (4), China (3) and Germany (1).

Embregts-Theunis (NL) - 10 pigeons - 1,460 euro/bird
Peter Theunis was able to put together a unique breeding pair for this auction: two Olympiad pigeons. And a youngster of Fast Rocket x Dragon Star proved even more popular, with a daughter of this pair moving to France for 3,6000 euro. The 10 youngsters were sold for 14,600 euro, to fanciers from Belgium (4), France (2), Macau (2) and The Netherlands (2).
