Cees Schroevers has been a top player in Zeeland and in The Netherlands overall for almost 30 years now. He has a select group of breeding pairs that enable him to excel season after season in his favourite two competitions, the one day long distance and the middle distance.

Cees Schroevers finished the 2013 season in style: he achieved some excellent results and he added a few championship titles to his list of achievements. In addition, his pigeon Kyara has won the title of Provincial Ace Pigeon Middle Distance in department Zeeland ’96.

This is not the first time we publish an article about Cees Schroevers. The Champion from Zeeland has had a magnificent 2012 with several first prizes and other successes, including a 1st Provincial Loft Middle Distance and a 7th National Ace Pigeon Natour.

Big black clouds filled with rain held France in their grip on Saturday. Postponing the middle distance and great distance races was the only option left for the organizers. On Sunday the tied turned, and the pigeons were able to fly in clear blue skies.

Places all his old pigeons in a spectacular internet auction! On the 22nd of November Cees Schroevers will close a piece of pigeon history, when his entire team of old birds (being all pigeons from 2008 and older) will be spread out over the whole of the planet via a PiPa-internet auction.
