25/07/2012 - Six hunderd and forty eight fanciers entered a total of three thousand, six hundred and fourteen birds into the National Flying Club race from Saintes. The birds were liberated at 06.30 hrs UK time into light north to north west winds and good visibility. After gaining height they cleared well to the north.
