25/12/2019 - The auction season at PIPA runs from mid-August to the end of June. Week in, week out, exceptional auction results are achieved, 40 weeks in a year. The auction weekends ended on average at more than 500,000 EURO in recent weeks. Last week the total was 667,000 EURO, this weekend 665,400 EURO. Below a report per auction.
28/02/2019 - Sunday was the closing day for 10 different auctions, in which 215 were put up for auction. They raised 389,725 euro together, with an average sale price of 1,812 euro per bird. We briefly discuss each individual auction below.
19/02/2019 - The combination from the town of Berlaar, home to quite a few successful teams, had its national breakthrough in 2013 with a national first prize from Nevers with racing bird Jente. They continued to deliver the following season, with Tarzan winning the title of National Ace Pigeon Longer Middle Distance KBDB YBs. That same Tarzan is now showing his potential in the breeding loft.
17/05/2015 - Father and son Dockx have developed into a top class loft in the national longer middle distance competition in recent seasons. Their racing bird Jente won a 1st Nat. Never in 2013, and Tarzan was 1st Nat. Ace Pigeon KBDB Young Birds Longer Middle Distance last season. They owe a lot to the iconic fanciers Gaston Van de Wouwer and Rik Cools.
13/11/2014 - Leo and Gerry from Koningshooikt near Lier have won an impressive number of prizes in their early career as pigeon fanciers. They were put in the spotlight as the winners of an ace pigeon title longer middle distance this season, after having already won a national first prize last year.
07/09/2013 - The first national race from Nevers was quite a difficult one. Leo & Gerry Dockx from Koningshooikt took the national first prize against 11,579 young birds. Their hen, Jente, achieved a velocity of 1201,02 m/min completing 470,581km.
