29/06/2015 - Apparently, the Rudi De Saer pigeon family does not find it particularly hard to win national first prizes. It was their Favoriet that claimed their latest national first prize as first nominated. The leader of their current racing team once again confirmed Rudi’s status as national number one in the long distance.
27/02/2015 - He is simply outstanding, even against the strongest opponents in Belgium. The result: three national first prizes in just three years' time, along with the titles of 1st national long distance champion KBDB in 2012 and 2014. He is indeed Belgium's number one long distance fancier!
11/09/2014 - Widely regarded as one of Belgium's most successful long distance fanciers, he started the season as the number one favourite for the long distance championship. His goal was to win a national title or national ace pigeon title this season, and he has a likely chance of taking one of these titles, which would be mission succeeded and a dream come true.
23/06/2014 - He had been considered the big favourite for weeks, which did not make things easier for him. And yet, he did what everybody expected him to do: he claimed the national first prize from Cahors. This was quite an achievement by Rudi Desaer, something we do not see very often!
10/06/2014 - Rudi had an impressive overall result from Limoges, including two pigeons in the national top ten. Tihs was another impressive performance, and the only negative was that they had to settle for second at national level.
23/05/2014 - The pigeons of Rudi De Saer turned the provincial old birds’ race from Tours into a one man show, with 28 prizes by 31 pigeons up to provincial level, including 17 prizes per ten and the first three provincial prizes.

10/11/2013 - The De Saer pigeon family was back in the game this season. We all know that they have a collection of pigeons of excellent quality but you have to be a very talented fancier to perform at a top level, race after race, for years on end.
20/08/2013 - In west Flanders 1012 old birds had been basketed for the provincial duplications of the national race from Tulle. It was the pigeon Froome (BE11-3123734) of Antoine & Rudi De Saer who proved the fastest, completing 623.897 km with a velocity of 1364.06 m/min.
