19/11/2018 - Ten auctions ended on Sunday 18th of November, raising 513,375 euro in total for 177 pigeons, or an average sale price of 2,900 euro. We briefly discuss each auction.

01/11/2014 - Manchester is known world-wide as the centre of football. However, it is not only famous for success in this branch of sport. The Crehan & O'Connor partnership from Salford (Greater Manchester) have been topping the prize lists in UK middle distance racing for quite some time now. Believing it was time to make a fresh start, the partnership decided to sell all its old birds from 3 to 16 November 2014.

01/11/2014 - Since the birth of their partnership in 2003, Crehan and O’Connor have let nothing stand in their way of achieving top-level results with their team of racing pigeons. Considering the quality of both their breeding and racing lofts, I therefore ask: will a better team of pigeons be offered for sale in 2014?

04/09/2013 - The city of Manchester, located in the industrialised north west of England, is famous for its two football teams, United and City. Throughout the months of August to May each year, these two giants of the English Premier League do battle to gain the title of league champions. However, each weekend during the British summer months of April to September there is a different battle fought by many serious competitors across this area; this of course being pigeon racing.

Included in the sale are birds from many fanciers who are fast becoming household names not just in Great Britain but all over the pigeon world.

12/09/2012 - It seems like no time at all since I wrote the last Best of British leader report. Once again Pieter Oberholster, the UK agent has pulled out all of the stops to obtain pigeons from fanciers from amongst the very best that Great Britain has to offer the world of pigeon racing. The lofts that I wish to inform you briefly about in this report are responsible for countless national, one loft and classic wins, not to mention full blown international wins.

17/01/2012 - The Sun City Million Dollar Race has proven itself in the past to be a creator of legends worldwide. It could be well be on its way to create yet another legend when the final bell ring the 28 th January 2012, Crehan & O’Conner’s (Manchester Maestroes) birds to date has certainly caused a sensation thus far and kept the Union Jack flying in the Hot Spot and nominations categories.

26/08/2011 - Just a stones throw from the Theatre Of Dreams in Manchester, home of the world famous Manchester United football club lives a team of pigeons that can be likened by genius to there football playing neighbours, the partnership I’m referring to is Crehan & O’connor of Salford.
