Van den Berg Mark

17/01/2014 - Mark van den Berg grew to become one of the biggest stars in marathon racing in The Netherlands in a very short period of time. Mark excelled in the Olympiad with his Olympic Zara, besides winning three national flights and several national top 10 prizes.

02/08/2012 - On Saturday a clear sky appeared at noon, allowing some races to go on. Others needed to be postponed until Sunday. Sunday was terrific flying weather, and all flights ran a smooth course. This resulted in the following top performances.

21/07/2012 - Mark van den Berg has had pigeons at the front of the pack in each marathon race this season. This makes him one of the big stars of the East Netherlands in this demanding discipline, together with his good friend Arjan Beens. His two year old hen has won the 1st NPO district 8 against 2,133 pigeons from Orange. This is a great achievement in an already outstanding season.

24/02/2012 - The time in which pigeon fanatic Mark van de Berg has made his ‘rush’ to the top of the International marathon world, resembles that of a TGV … against all rules he has aquired such a broad scale of highlights in his five debut years, that he is already a fixed value amongst the long-term elite.

01/08/2010 - The fourth (from a total of 6 races in the various disciplines) K.IJ.G.C.-attraction race was flown on the 25th of May from Perigueux. It was now the turn of the men with a lot of patience, seeing that the average distance measured 905km.
