01/01/2019 - It has become an annual tradition for PIPA to bring you an overview of the ten most-read articles (all languages included) of the past year, right before the start of the new year. We do not take into account the race pages, the club pages or the rankings. We present you the top five for 2018!

30/12/2018 - In March 2017 PIPA hosted the record breaking auction of Gino Clicque, in which Golden Prince, the big star of the team, was sold for a record breaking 360,000 euro to Samuel Mbiza, the new owner. He was the most expensive bird ever sold at the time.

24/12/2018 - PIPA and pigeon magazine Het Spoor der Kampioenen sat down for an interview just a while ago, to talk about the past, present and future of PIPA, the world's most exclusive auction house for pigeons.

20/12/2018 - Everyone will agree that the Leideman pigeons have been particularly tough to beat in recent years, claiming a long series of important victories against thousands of pigeons. They can look back on two very successful years of racing in Belgium.

17/12/2018 - As always, the pigeons come into prominence when the national ace pigeon titles in the different competitions are being announced. And 2018 is no exception, with racing bird Enchanted claiming a top three in three different Olympiad categories. Gas and Gerard have added a grand total of 12 top 10 ace pigeon titles to their palmares.

10/12/2018 - 9 different auctions closed on Sunday, raising 395,175 euro in total for 160 pigeons, with an average of 2,470 euro/pigeon. We briefly discuss each individual auction.

10/12/2018 - From 16 to 27 November PIPA travelled to China, enjoying the company of Bart Geerinckx, Jelle Roziers, Tom Van Gaver, Davy & Patrick Tournelle, Jo Bauters, Nick & Roger Thys, Joël Verschoot AnD Jean-Marc Thibaut-Boons.

28/11/2018 - The highly successful pigeon breed of Hugo and Anita Batenburg has surprised us once again! They started the 2018 season with 4 national top 20 prizes in Pau, and they ended the season with an even better result: the fancier from South-Holland claims the title of 1st National Ace Pigeon ZLU in the national WHZB competition with Blue Ace 2018!

28/11/2018 - The outstanding results of the A. & W. Drapa / Zhang youngbird team over the last years, has been crowned in a true champions manner in 2018 … with 1st until 8th acebird in the Sprinter Cup and 1st and 3rd National acebird Tipes competion. It’s reigning with great dominance or in other words: ‘winning the Drapa way’.

20/11/2018 - During the night of the 17th-18th of november, a horrible theft has been committed at Dominique Daniel. The loss is huge as among the stolen pigeons, there is a.o. the 1st & 2nd international St-Vincent 2018 as well as their parents.

17/11/2018 - Up until a few hours before the start of the Gaby Vandenabeele total auction, fanciers could guess the total revenue of this auction on the PIPA website. With the auction having come to an end yesterday evening, we can now officially announce the winner of a pigeon gifted by the PEC!

28/10/2018 - We've just received the information that Mr Guy Nihoul has passed away.

26/10/2018 - The annual pigeon exhibition in Kassel, Germany takes place next weekend. Fanciers will be meeting up both on Saturday 27th and Sunday 28th October, to talk about what has been a demanding season of racing. PIPA will have a stand at the event as well!

22/10/2018 - The OLR Derby Costa De Sol in Malaga had its 6th edition this year. This edition shows once again that the race organizers and their team have a lot going for them.

22/10/2018 - The sensational auction of grandmaster Gaby Vandenabeele takes off on Monday 29th of October. The weekend of 10, 11 and 12 November will mark the end of an internationally renowned pigeon family. In the lead-up to this auction PIPA will be organising a special quiz!

14/10/2018 - PIPA was invited as a special guest to the AU convention in Chicago in 2018. The Convention includes seminars, an exclusive public auction with birds provided from PIPA clients, a race, ... Top racers from Europe are also attending the event. Bart Geerinckx, Jelle Roziers, Adrien Mirabelle, Tom Van Gaver, Sakis Minovgioudis, Nikolaas Gyselbrecht,... will be present. Also Big Andy will be present.
