06/04/2019 - Dirk Van Dyck, the iconic fancier from Zandhoven in Antwerp, lived up to his reputation as super champion again in 2018. He was outstanding in the sprint, the longer middle distance and everything in between, both with the old birds, the yearlings and the young birds.

22/03/2019 - Maarten Huijsmans is, despite his young age, already a phenomenon at his favorite distances, the sprint and middle distance. In both disciplines he has managed to distinguish himself in a wonderful way at national level.

14/03/2019 - With a national victory on Brive and the best Belgian long distance yearling with 5 prizes (PIPA Rankings), Tom Van Gaver & his father Marnik just passed their first big annual test with a brilliant note. However, it was not a foregone conclusion. Let's go back to an unforgettable year for this combination of the Gent area.

21/02/2019 - The way in which Gino and his son Jasper Clicque dominated the national races this season was quite extraordinary. They claimed several top prizes every week, and they added quite a few national championship titles KBDB to their name at the end of the season.

15/02/2019 - Stijn and Jeroen Rans have been getting great results in the national long distance for several years now, winning for instance a national first prize from Pau and Perpignan in 2017. Their 2018 season was quite a success as well, with most notably a 2nd National Valence, a 1st Interprov. Bergerac (YLs) and an 8th National Barcelona.

11/02/2019 - After a briljant 2017 season with three provincial first prizes, the fanciers from Holsbeek did not really know what to expect of 2018. Their provincial first prize from Blois on 22nd of July put their minds at ease, and the remainder of the 2018 season was quite a success as well, as you can tell from the following report.

01/02/2019 - La Colombe Joyeuse hands out their prestigious Europe Cup every season, and the 2018 edition was dominated by Dutch and Franch fanciers: places one and two go to Dutchmen Batenburg Van de Merwe and Jos Martens, with Frenchman Joél Thorel finishing in third place.

11/01/2019 - The Scheele Brothers had a marvellous generation of young birds in 2017, and these continued to deliver as one year olds in the 2018 season. The pigeons from this renowned breed did not disappoint, they performed really well this year.

30/12/2018 - In March 2017 PIPA hosted the record breaking auction of Gino Clicque, in which Golden Prince, the big star of the team, was sold for a record breaking 360,000 euro to Samuel Mbiza, the new owner. He was the most expensive bird ever sold at the time.

29/12/2018 - Kas & Karel Meijers have the 1st Olympiad Pigeon Sprint in their collection with Olympic Nicole. The grandparents from its mother's side are two direct pigeons of Stefaan Lamrechts (Nijlen, BE), and believe it or not, both grandparents are now being auctioned on PIPA!

28/12/2018 - Sakis Minovgioudis owes his excellent reputation to a large extent to three super class breeders of Ludo Claessens: the descendants of Meeuwke 12, Supercrack's Talent and his Bonte Beauty have led to fantastic results across the globe, especially in one loft racing.

27/12/2018 - 2018 has been another fabulous season for Stefaan Lambrechts, who was racing from his new loft in Nijlen. He had some fantastic results in the middle distance, he was on top of his game in the national races from Bourges and Chateauroux, and the national championships KBDB 2018 were a major success as well.

26/12/2018 - 10 auctions ended on Sunday 23rd of December, with 149 pigeons sold for 411,125 euro, or 2,759 euro per bird. We talk you through each auction below.

25/12/2018 - Gert Noels (38) from Ham in Limburg is still a relatively young pigeon fancier but he has been on the rise since 2012. In 2018 he claims the title of 1st Provincial Ace Pigeon Long Distance old birds KBDB with Lennert, as well as 11 provincial top ten prizes.

24/12/2018 - Frans (51) and his son Gert Rondags (24) from Grote-Spouwen in Bilzen, a town in Limburg, claimed 52 first prizes without doubles over the course of 2018, without even having raced their old birds.
