08/02/2013 - From the 29th of November 2012 till the 2nd of December 2012 the National Days took place in Tirgu Mures, a quite big city with 160,000 inhabitants situated northeast of the Romanian capital Bucresti (Bucharest).
06/02/2013 - The 40th Portuguese National and Pre Olympic Pigeons Exhibition held from 10 to 13 January 2013, at the Pavilion of Expoeste in Caldas da Rainha. This pavilion has about 10,000 m2.

12/07/2012 - Danny Van Dyck from Putte (Belgium) has won the one loft race in Mira (Portugal). His pigeon arrived about a minute earlier than the second and third pigeon. The top 3 had a big lead of over 30 minutes over their first pursuers.
22/06/2012 - His hen was also the fastest pigeon of the whole pack of 32,271 pigeons. Last year, that same hen was also winner of 35° Nat. Bourges against 20,589 pigeons. Nice work!
06/06/2012 - He took the victory with a grandson of his winner of the 1° National Brive 2007. In the same weekend, Jules also won 7° National Limoges against 13,781 pigeons. What a weekend it was.
22/05/2012 - The Royal Pigeon Racing Association (RPRA) has given more information on the liberation site Bovingdon for the FCI Olympic Race from London.
10/12/2011 - It is with renewed pride that Mira once again receives the International Pigeon Fancier Championships. These are the result of a good partnership between the City Council, the International Pigeon Fanciers Federation and the Portuguese Pigeon Fanciers Federation.

31/08/2009 - The 2009 season, which went fairly smoothly, is only just over, and the the first celebrations are upcoming. On Saturday the 26th of September the “La Colombe Joyeuse” was, as usual, the first in line.
