ウィリー・ファンハウーテ - ウェフェルヘム(ベルギー)、品質はトップクラス!

The very least we can say is that the colony of the middle distance virtuoso from the West-Flemish Wevelgem, not only belongs to the strongest of his province, but can be counted as belonging to the best middle distance lofts of our country!

This was proven by the performances over the last few seasons, which were a real chain of overwhelming performances… whereby not only a recital of 1° prizes was won, but also numerous results with the first 2 prizes, the first 3 prizes and even more! Performances which resulted in the winning of prominent titles up to provincial and national level, with, in a nutshell, the most predominant:

At ‘national’ level:

5° National Champion KBDB Yearlings 2009
5° National Champion KBDB ‘Small middle distance youngsters’ 2010
11° National Champion KBDB Yearlings 2010

At ‘provincial’ level:

1° General Provincial Champion KBDB 2000
1° General Provincial Champion KBDB 2002
1° General Provincial Champion KBDB 2003
1° General Provincial Champion KBDB 2004
1° General Provincial Champion KBDB 2006

With which Willy Vanhoutte was in fact the only real ‘West Flemish Keizer’ of the KBDB, by winning the title of ‘General Provincial Champion’ for 3 years in a row (in 2002-03-04)! No small feat, and clearly the proof that Willy Vanhoutte is not just any old fancier… but belongs amongst the very best middle distance racers of our country!
People who have belonged to the top lofts of their area, of their province or even their country, for years… can generally rely on a few real toppers in the loft, an excellent couple and a family built around it! Willy Vanhoutte is no exception… his recent successes are based on a rock solid ‘old stock’, in combination with the absolute top couple at  the moment… also known as the ‘wonder couple’ Willy Vanhoutte, namely ‘Den Bourges’ x ‘Beauty’! Both were self super talented racing pigeons with a.o. the following toppers included in their honours list:

-The ‘Bourges’ is a direct Marcel Demeester, Ingelmunster which won a.o.

1° Prov. Bourges  534 p. ’05
1° Tours 156 p. en 3° Prov 2.456 p.
2° Bourges 194 p. ’04, 20° Prov 1.620 p., and 37° Nat Bourges 23.694 p. ’04

-the ‘Beauty’ won 8 prizes per 10 as a youngster, with a.o.

 4° Clermont 68 p.,  7° Dourdan 341 p.,  8° Dourdan 543 p., 18° Dourdan 736 p……

Allow us to give a short overview of the spectrum of top talent bred from this super breeding couple, residing in the lofts in Wevelgem at the moment:

- ‘Groten’: won 3 x 1° Prizes and is self father of ‘Bambino’ (4 x 1° Prize)!

-‘Prins’: a super alented racing pigeon with numerous prizes within the ‘top 10’!

-‘Leeuw’: father of ‘Bodo’ (2 x 1° Prize), ‘Venus’ (2 x 1° Prize), ‘Serena’ etc!

-‘Schoon’: promising and youthful breeder out the ‘wonder couple’ (never raced)

-‘Primus’: 4 x 1° Prize!

-‘Perfection’: super breeding hen and a.o. mother of the current ‘Nr 1’ in the racing lofts of Willy Vanhoutte, the ‘Cupido’ (winner of  7 x 1° Prizes)

-‘Martine’: top breeding hen which is a.o. mother of the ‘Kolonel , 1° Ace bird LAR, 6° Prov Ace bird KBDB

-‘Wilma’: mother of the ‘Professor’ (4 x 1° Prize)!

-‘Marleen’: a yearling breeding hen!

‘Beauty’ is further mother of a.o.:

-super-breeder ‘Laten’: self father of star racers ‘Bliksem’ and ‘Baron’ (1° Orleans)

-‘Tobias’: father of ‘Tarzan’, self winner 3 x 1° Prize and 7° Prov Ace bird middle distance ’09

That counts… with rather a small colony like that of Willy Vanhoutte, with every year no more than 60 pigeons on the loft list (breeders + racers)!

But in numerous other lofts the Willy Vanhoutte pigeons have also taken the lead, or lie at the basis to the winning of 1° prizes up to provincial and national level. National top lofts like Jos Joosen (Brecht), Deschepper-De Temmerman (Merelbeke)… found ideal reinforcements in the Willy Vanhoutte pigeons! But we don’t have to just mention the big names to praise the breeding worth and performance capabilities of certain pigeon pedigrees like this of Willy Vanhoutte! Let us take a look at a few remarkable performances in other lofts, as  standard proof of the enormous potential hididng behind the Vanhoutte pigeons:

Provincial Ace birds in which the sort  Wiily Vanhoutte is represented for at least 50 to the full 100%:

Let us then limit ourselves to a few striking examples from 2011:
