ベルギーの週末:2011年7月2日・3日

There were no less than 5 national races on the agenda during the weekend of the 2nd of July. And that gave a heap of strong racers for this ‘look at the week’!

With 5 national competitions from 3 different points of liberation (Orange, Bordeaux Agen, Argenton), the first weekend of July was as full as an egg. The weather was perfect, with marvellous racing weather for the pigeons and pleasant temperatures around the 20 degrees, and a north to north-easterly wind. Conditions which allowed early pigeons to be clocked all  over the country, this was especially the case from Argenton. The Bordeaux which in the end was liberated in Villeneuve Agen, gave an advantage to the west side of our country, due to its location, whilst with its easterly location, Orange was better for the East of our country. It was a weekend then with races where everybody could get their money’s worth, and have a chance of an ‘early pigeon’! With all these national races on the calendar it was very difficult to find the shiners in these competitions… but we were finally able to make up the following list:

Province East-Flanders

Erwin Neirynck , Nazareth

Argenton  (508,363 Km)   180 Yearlings:
8-10-15 (3/3)
The 1st nominated also previously flew 32nd National Chateauroux van 24.769 yearlings ( 4/6/2011)

Luc Bafort, Temse

Is busy with a very strong long distance season, and possibly one of his strongest ever. Last weekend the Bafort pigeons also made a name for themselves:

Orange (784 km) 64 O.b.: 2-4 (2/2)

In the national forecast these pigeons parade in places 101 and 199. From Bordeaux they were also victorious with

Bordeaux (823 km) 117 O.b.: 1-37 (2/5)
Bordeaux 191 Yearlings: 4-9-15-41-48 (5/6)

By the 15th prize the 3 first nominated yearlings had already been clocked! The same from Argenton with the 14-51-56th prize against 386 yearlings! This made a top weekend complete!

Benny Steveninck, Hamme

Argenton   (534 Km)609 O.b.:
1-2-10-43-48-50-58-61-87-128 and 143 (from 13 p .)

National there will probably be 2 pigeons in the ‘top-100’, the first being around the 20th place in the forecast .

Argenton 1.209 yl
3-4-5-11-12-14-21-42-61-75-85-109-137-142-169-180 and 239 (from 18 p.)

Anno-Debouver, Nazareth

With, in order of arriving home the 2-3-1-4th nominated

Once again a ‘masterpiece’ from the brothers Vandenheede! The continuity in the performances of the racing team has been proved once again:

Cahors : 158 pigeons regional:  2-4-6-7-8-9 (13/20) per 3.

O 7/14 in the prognosis per 10!!!

Daniel Timmers, Hechtel

Hasn’t been sitting on his laurels since his national victory from La Châtre 2 weeks ago, quite the opposite! He proved in from Argenton with:

Argenton  club 148 yearlings:

2-4-11-12-13-14-19-29-39-42  (10/17)

Prov Limburg 1.259 yearlings: 3-5-57-59-60-63-100… etc.

Or here also 7 per 10

Jozef Roels, Maaseik

Turned Bordeaux at provincial level to his hand with the following ‘double’:

Bordeaux Prov  531 O.b.: 1-2-46… etc or already 3/6 per 10!

Adri-Jan Hoes, Maaseik

Clearly has top condition in the lofts. After provincial victory last week from Libourne yearlings, an excellent performance was laid down from Orange with:

Orange Prov. Limburg  894 O.b.:  23-31-67…

Or already 3/4 more than per 10!
