For the last few years the Fanger brothers were able to call themselves the terrors of the region Amsterdam and they have excelled in the NPO races. With numerous national top notations and titles, they belong to the better racers of our country.
The brothers Hanny and Frans Fanger used to race individually. Frans raced with his son Dave and Hanny with his twins Danny and Pascal. During the period 1985 t0 2002 both brothers could be counted as champions in District F. Hanny decided to move to Badhoevedorp in 2001 and to race there with the youngsters. The lofts are situated behind the well-known food company which is also run by the Fanger gentlemen. Although it is always a matter of waiting at a new location to see how the pigeons perform, the Fanger gentlemen have together been causing fireworks since 2004. With teletext notations, national top pigeons, Acebirds and chain results they are the men to beat in their province.
The division of labour is quite simple. Hanny is mainly busy with the youngsters, and if they endure this well then they come under the supervision of Frans. Since the 1st year the Gebr. Fanger have belonged to the champions of the province. And now a few years later they have built up an honours list to bow down to (just the last 3 years)

That such titles (just the last 3 years) are backed up by resounding performances is somewhat logic. Yet we don’t want to keep them from you.

Solid facts from these Fanger brothers. What is also solid is their stock building, with pigeons from J.Manten, Koen Minderhoud (Vandenabeele) via the late B.vermeulen , Dirk van Dyck and opponent, but close acquaintance Henny la Grouw (out his best lines from Co Verbree, Louis van Loon and G&S Verkerk). These pigeons form 1 of the 3 factors which the Fanger fanciers consider important, namely good pigeons! The other 2 factors are; a good loft and a good system.
The system has been well thought through and the men leave nothing to chance. You can’t if you want to shine in the NPO and National races. The loft can be described as ‘simple’, although perhaps against all theories and rules. It is however functional and that is the only thing that matters. As, a.o. the following pigeons managed to find their niche, and excelled on numerous podiums.

And the Fanger gentlemen have a ‘number’ of pigeons like these. It is a top loft with unbelievably high quality pigeons which race top both in the sprint, but also certainly in the extreme middle distance. Partly due to the marvelous care.
