This popular One Loft Race is held in Slovenia. The AviRings One Loft Race has been organized for several years now, a race which distinguishes itself through innovation. Participating fanciers have the opportunity to track their pigeons via GPS rings, the youngsters are raced 'on the door' (a type of double widowhood racing with youngsters) and are darkened. Furthermore, cameras in the lofts stream footage 24/7. Exceptional transparency of the organizers. The official racing program started August 2nd with a race across 120km, and finished September 13th with the Final across 521km. 602 pigeons were basketed for the final race. The Slovenian fancier Marco Goranic won with his pigeon reaching an average speed of 1133 m/min. Most pigeons arrived one their own, with varying successes for different European participants. 237 pigeons arrived on the day of release. At the the end of the day, 364 pigeons had reached the lofts.

Jelger Klinkenberg is without doubt a renowned name in Dutch pigeon sport. He has many national ace pigeons, including Olympic Miss Magic who became the 1st International Ace Pigeon Olympiad Speed in Nitra 2013! However, this didn’t stop Jelger from auctioning his total colony and focusing on his family and work. Nonetheless, he couldn’t resist making a comeback in 2016 and has once again become very successful. The highlight came in 2022 when he was crowned 1st Best Fancier of The Netherlands Nominated and Not Nominated! He also became 1st Nat. Champion Young birds both Nominated and Not Nominated with a staggering 9 pigeons in the Top 20 of the National NPO Ace Pigeon competition for young birds!
