
First open and first ES section was won by John Cowlin of Hullbridge with a yearling hen on 1575mpm over 202 miles. The winner contains Frans Zwols bloodlines, with the dam being Burnham Queen, 1st open BICC Guernsey 2018. Burnham Queen was raced by Lee Bastone and bred from Formula 1 Lofts Dream Pair lines. The sire is a full brother to Queen of Coutances, 1st open BICC young bird national and 2nd open NFC national in 2020.
Second open and second ES section was a yearling on 1573mpm over 201 miles for David Coward-Talbot of Chelmsford. David timed a blue hen, named MIsderri bred from two Janssen based pigeons from his good friend Tony Derricott of Chesterfield. Following surgery, David has been help immensely with the pigeons by his friend Paul Russell this season.

Foster and Finan of Dagenham were third open and third ES section with a yearling on 1561mpm over 184 miles. Andy and Lee timed a hen containing mixed Hardy Kruger and Klass Krom bloodlines.

Mr and Mrs Rhodes of Aylesham were fourth open and fourth SE section with a three year old on 1560mpm over 203 miles. They clocked a hen bred from a Mahoney Brothers Van Loon cock crossed with a Freialdenhofenx Sons hen. It was sent sitting fourteen day eggs.

G and D Marsh of Sussex were first CS section and ninth open with a yearling on 1547mpm over a distance of 174 miles. Gordon and Delia's section winner was a Van Osh hen with numerous prizes to its name. The grandsire came from Crammond and Langstaff and the dam has flown the channel many times.

Damian Szpak of Deptford timed a yearling on 1532mpm over 174 miles to take second CS section. Damian timed a hen that was hawked earlier in the season, so rested and then sent to the first BICC Guernsey race where it was 112th open. It is a half-sister to Queen 85 and a grand-daughter to Armora.

Third CS section was a two year old on 1515mpm over 166 miles for Ken Wise of Isleworth. Ken's hen is a Gaby Vandenabeele with the sire being a son of Pre Olympic x Golden Lady bred by M and D Evans. The dam is Champion DE 006 which comes from a son of Benetton x daughter One So Wonderful.
M Hathway of Bristol was first WS section and ninety-second open with a four year old on 1206mpm over 131 miles. Mike timed a dark chequer, widowhood cock containing Hereman Ceusters bloodlines.

John Halstead of Kington Magna timed a yearling on 1106mpm over 103 miles to take second WS section. John clocked a chequer hen, sent feeding a five day old squeaker. It is bred from a Jellema cock paired to a Southwell hen.

Dave Wilson and Daughter of Yeovil were third WS section with a yearling on 833mpm over 100 miles. Dave's hen was bred from a grandson of John Gerard's Zwarte Lourdes and a hen purchased from Pete Hollard's bereavement sale and believed to contain Joe 90 bloodlines.


David Paine of St Neots was first NC section and fifty-fourth open with a yearling on 1373mpm over 212 miles. David's section winner contains Hereman Ceusters bloodlines.
Second NC section was a two year old on 1344mpm over 213 miles for Rob Jarratt of Burton Latimer.

Gavin Cole of Gedney Hill was third NC section with a four year old on 1313mpm over 244 miles. Gaving clocked a hen containing Jelle Jellema bloodlines.

D and E Ball of Eyke timed a two year old on 1497mpm over 294 miles to take first NE section and twentieth open. The section winner was a Vandenabeele cock, sent sitting ten days. It contains De-Bisschop bloodlines via Alun Jones of Redstar Lofts.

M and A Horn of Southwold were second NE section with a four year old on 1411mpm over 269 miles. Melvyn timed a consistent hen bred from his Vandenabeele bloodlines.

Chapman and Eastoe of Great Yarmouth were third NE section with a two year old on 1407mpm over 286 miles. Glen sent eleven old hens and had them all on the day. His winner was raced on the natural system and sent sitting a large squeaker. It was third section from Guernsey two weeks previously.

The NW section winners were Booth and Roper from Tewkesbury with a two year old on 1020mpm over 174 miles. They were also one hundred and sixth open with their chequer cock bred from their Vandenbeele x Dordin family of pigeons.
John Rodway of Rushwick was second NW section with a yearling on 912mpm over 185 miles. John's timer was a blue hen, sent unpaired. It has been raced on both north and south roads this season.

Richard Pugh of Worcestershire was third NW section with a two year old on 817mpm over 179 miles. Richard's pigeon was bred from his old Van Braine family and is a great-grand-daughter of his Barcelona cock, twice Palamos and three times Barcelona.
