First open and first section G was a two year old on 1125ypm timed by Alan Still of Felpham. Alan timed a Nauwelaerts x Janssen hen raced on the natural system and sent sitting chipping eggs. Previous performances from this hen include first club, fourth federation and various cards as a youngster.
Willie Young & son, Brodie
Wullie Young of Gloucester was second open and first section C with a two year olf on 1116.9ypm. First on the clock was a hen from Bob Orton's family of pigeons which Bob gifted to Wullie when he retired from the sport. Wullie's son, Brodie was waiting for the birds with his dad and spotted the first one arrive as Wullie was doing the dishes at the time. Wullie timed two further pigeons to also take third and fourth section C.
Mark & Julie Gower
Mr and Mrs Mark Gower of Fordingbridge were third open and first section B with a yearling hen on 1116.6ypm. First on the clock was a daughter of the first Central Southern Classic Club winner from Dax, the dam was paired to an Andy Parsons' cock that has bred many good Tarbes pigeons. This hen was flown on the roundabout system. Husband and wife timed a second pigeon on 1070ypm to also take second section B. This was a roundabout cock containing Andy Parsons' bloodlines.
Dave & June Newman
Mrs and Mrs Newman of Aylesbury clocked a yearling on 111ypm to take fourth open and first section D. Dave and June timed a cock bred from two French pigeons bought at a Barcelona Challenge sale from the McGee lofts. This cock flew four races as a youngster and this year has raced three times from Fougères before being prepared for Bordeaux.
Mark & Hannah Bulled
Mark Bulled of Harlow timed two pigeons, both two year olds on 1109 and 1108ypm to take fifth and sixth open and first and second section J. In all Mark timed four pigeons within an hour, all hens and all sent sitting ten day eggs. First on the clock was a latebred daughter of Legacy, first national Tarbes, when paired to Bump, second BBC Bordeaux. The sire of Mark's second timer won twice from Tarbes and comes from his foundation cock, Old 60. The dam of this pigeon came from Darren McFadden's London and South East Classic Club Tarbes winner.
Steve Oliver
G Oliver and Son of Feltham timed a three year old hen on 1093ypm to take seventh open and second section D. This pigeon was bred by Mark Bulled and the sire comes from his foundation cock, Old 60. The dam of Steve's timer was The National Hen, a winner of fourteen national and classic positions.
Tony Welch
Mr and Mrs Tony Welch of Chichester were eighth open and second section G with a yearling hen on 1077ypm. Tony usually flies all his cocks and hens on the widowhood system, but for Bordeaux they were paired up and sent sitting twelve day eggs. Tony and Carol's timer was bred down from their old family of pigeons.
Mick Carrick
Mr and Mrs Carrick and Son from Chesham clocked a four year old cock on 1076ypm to take ninth open and third section D. This cock has been Mick's best channel pigeon for the last four seasons and has also won inland. It is a full brother to his fourth open winner from Fougères.
Lee & Maureen Dyer
Completing the top ten and in first section A are L and M Dyer from Nettlestone on the Isle of Wight with a yearling hen on 1073ypm. This pigeon was bred from a pair of Reed x DeWeerdts bred by Guy Reed. It came from a grandson of Iban and Wingdown, when paired to a duaghter of Stan. The dam was from a daughter of Andrea, Guy's first pigeon from Tarbes this season, when paired to the Majoli cock. The partners timed a second pigeon on 1067ypm to also take second section. This was a Scottish pigeon bred by Kevin Sampson, that came in as a youngster and was transferred.

Rod & Angela Berry
Berry and Matthews from New Milton were third section A. Rod timed a hen sent sitting ten day eggs. On the sire's side it is bred down from Matt Rakes' Indy and the dam's bloodlines are Vandenabeele. Rod was also first and second club in the young bird race on the same day.
John Halstead
John Halstead of Gillingham was third section B. John timed a yearling, widowhood cock bred from Big Bucks, his number one breeder. Big Bucks is a son of Nyland Ashley, second open from Barcelona in 2008. The dam was a hen from Geoff and Catherine Cooper's DeWeerdt family, a half sister to Wollongong.
Frank Quinn
F J Quinn of Devizes was second section C. Frank's timer was bred from Andy Parsons' family of pigeons and after a night out from Saintes with the NFC she was prepared for Bordeaux on Frank's seperated system.
Nigel Shaw
Mr and Mrs Shaw from Basford were first section E with a three year old on 1040ypm. Nigel clocked a reliable Gaby Vandenabeele hen bred by Dave Sara of Cornwall.
Gordon Rigg
Gordon Rigg of Congleton was second and fourth section E on 946ypm and 878ypm respectively. Gordon timed one of a batch of youngsters given to him in 2013 by Cameron Stansfield with a view to crossing with his Dusardyn family and establishing a long distance family. Second on the clock was a cock bred by Steven Holmes.
Mr and Mrs Shore from Crewe were second section E.
Derek Reid of Weybridge was third section G.
Willie Healy
Willie Healy of Jersey was first section H with a four year old on 870ypm. Willie timed Blue Bell, a Geoff Kirkland x Joe Lewzio hen, sent sitting overdue eggs. This hen won the old hens race from Fougères in 2013 and in 2014 she flew Palamos but arrived home out of race time.
Keith Gosling & Mick Jarvis
Gosling and Jarvis from Mountnessing were third section J. Keith and Mick timed Robbie's Girl, a blue hen raced on the natural system and sent sitting chipping eggs. Robbie's Girl was bred by Robbie and Andrew Wilton, the sire being a classic merit award winner and the dam a daughter of a classic Tarbes timer.
