Team Noël-Willockx (Baasrode, BE) have a more than successful season with a 1st Nat. Zone and 3 x 1st Prov.

The team raced under the name of Team Noël-Willockx for the first time in 2016, in which they managed to claim two provincial first prizes. The team went on to add three more provincial first prizes to their palmares in 2017 from Argenton, Vierzon and Châteauroux, making this a particularly successful season indeed.

Ivan Willockx (l) and Eddy Noël (r)

Eddy Noël and Ivan Willockx decided to join forces in 2013, and that was the starting point of breeding loft Team Noël-Willockx. Their main objective would be to obtain nothing but pigeons of the best quality. We are four years down the line and their achievements illustrate that they know what they are doing. No less than eleven national ace pigeons KBDB originate from the bloodlines of Team Noël-Willockx in just a few years' time. The youngsters that they bred were solely raced in other lofts up until 2015, and from then on Eddy and Ivan began racing in their own loft as well. This was an excellent decision, as Eddy and Ivan were very successul from day one: they claimed some remarkable results with just the youngsters of 2016 and four late youngsters of 2015. They claimed a 1st and 2nd Provincial Young Birds in Argenton against 4,235 pigeons, as well as a 1st Provincial of 657 yearlings with just one late youngster of 2015 in the basket. The team also won a 2nd Provincial of 6,737 pigeons in the young birds' race from Bourges. And their results of 2017 show that the successes of 2016 were not a coincidence. All the results of 2017 can be found here. Eddy and Ivan claimed another three provincial first prizes this season, along with several provincial and national top 100 prizes, making for the following list of achievements for 2017:

1st Provincial Argenton (530 km) 709 pigeons
1st Provincial Vierzon (450 km) 268 pigeons
1st Provincial Châteauroux (502 km) 290 pigeons (and 1st National Zone 606 p.)
 15 x top 100 National
 47 x top 100 National Zone
145 x top 100 Provincial

All the highlights at provincial and national level are listed here. Eddy is responsible for the day to day caretaking of the pigeons, while Ivan takes care of the administrative side of things. The yearlings were initially raced in total widowhood but they switch over to the nest towards the end of the season. The youngsters are not separated and were mainly left alone. Here is a closer look at the pigeons that claimed the three provincial victories this season.
