Maurice and Luc De Laere (Anzegem, BE) win 1st Prov. Chateauroux olds

It was top class racing bird Jerommeke that won his second provincial first prize from Chateauroux on 16th of July. He was also the fastest of 2,083 pigeons in the province of West Flanders. The following day Luc had the fastest pigeon in Clermont WVOU against 9,812 young birds as well. It was quite a successful weekend for team De Laere!

Racing bird Tieke became the leading name in the pigeon breed of Maurice and Luc De Laere in the new millennium, winning the title of 1st Prov. Ace Pigeon Middle Distance KBDB both in 2001 and 2002. The Tieke dynasty developed into an invaluable bloodline and has bred numerous successful racing birds for Team De Laere. These pigeons have won many first prizes, provincial victories and even national titles. These racing birds are born to win prizes, and they became even better when crossed with pigeons of Gaby Vandenabeele, especially the line of Bliksem (Brave Bliksem and Justine Bliksem). These bloodlines provided the basis for an outstanding racing team that has been doing very well in the middle distance and longer middle distance in recent seasons.

Jerommeke wins 1st Prov. Chateauroux

The pigeon breed of the late Maurice and his son Luc De Laere is based around prize winners and ace pigeons, and they were again very successful in the weekend of 16 July.
