Sangers Pigeons (Eefde, NL) wins 1st Tienen 2,450 p. with a 100% Van Den Bulck cock

As if they had skipped autumn and winter, Marcel and Brian Sangers simply continued where they had left off in the end of 2017: by winning races! Team Sangers is in great form, and went on to win a first prize from Tienen of 2,450 pigeons and an impressive 1-5-6-7-12-19-22-23-24-25, etc. The first prize went to a 100% descendant of Dirk Van den Bulck's super class breed.

It has been discussed a lot over the course of 2017: Team Sangers saw a considerable increase in quality with the introduction of youngsters and brothers and sisters of the best Van Den Bulck pigeons, which were obtained through Flanders Collection. The old Sangers foundation, combined with this noble sprint breed proved particularly valuable. The new 2018 season has only just started, and these bloodlines have already shown their enormous potential. Here are the results from the first few weeks:

This has been a fantastic start to the season, which for Marcel was overshwadowed by the death of his fellow fancier and friend Paul Ung. Marcel travelled to The Philippines to attend his funeral shortly before the race from Tienen. Brian and Chantal temporarely looked after the racing team, which did not fail to deliver.

NL16-1259568 Home Soon; 1st Tienen 2,450 p.

The winner in Tienen was racing cock home Soon, who showed to have some excellent origins in demanding racing conditions. It was a remarkably warm 21st of April with a strong headwind, in which the strongest of pigeons really stood out, even in a race of 174km at the very start of the season. Home Soon had a 13 mile/minute lead over the rest of the pack, winning the race by a wide margin! He is a 100% Van Den Bulck bred from two pigeons that come straight from the Flanders Collection, inbred to stock pair Broer Goede Rode x Golden Leo 40000.

Sire: Racoon, a direct Flanders Collection from a son of stock pair Broer Goede Rode x Golden Leo 40000. Countless descendants of this pair have won races across the globe, across many generations. Think of Olympic Rosita and her super class son Kittel, the entire Supersprint dynasty, Dubbele As and Blauwe Beer, and many more.
Dam: Ranomi, a direct Flanders Collection from Super Sprint 873, co-winner of a 1st Nat. Champion Sprint KBDB with 5x top 10 of more than 1,000 p. in 2013. His descendants have won several first prizes. Super Sprint 873 is a direct son of Broer Goede Rode x Golden Leo 40,000.
