Philippe Dobbelaere (Olsene, BE) has a phenomenal start to the middle distance season

After 3 weeks of middle distance racing, Philippe Dobbelaere won a staggering 17x 1st Prizes (including doubles). It is currently raining victories and top results in Olsene.

A flashing start

A good start is half the work. The Philippe Dobbelaere colony has done exactly that, with a superb start in 2023 on the middle distance races. The Dobbelaere pigeons seem unbeatable in their region. With 17x 1st Prize (with doubles), including multiple results with the first 3, first 4, first 5 and even first 6 prizes - in which the Dobbelaere pigeons were only beaten by their own loft mates - the dominance of this colony was possibly never so extreme. A phenomenal display of dominance!

These are promising results working towards the first national of 2023 - the race from Bourges (Vierzon) - which will take place upcoming weekend. We don't want to speak of a favorite for the win. Everyone knows that all the conditions have to be right to shine on a national level, including weather, wind, distance, etc. Nonetheless, it is fair to say that the pigeons of Philippe Dobbelaere are ready to shine. A perfect preparation doesn't exist...17x 1st Prizes in 3 weeks. Such dominance is illustrative of great class. Especially in tough racing weather in which the best pigeons show themselves.

Curious whether these results will be continued on the National classics. One thing is certain...the Philippe Dobbelaere pigeons are in peak condition.
