First open and first east section was won by Lee Bastone of Burnham on Sea on 1622mpm over 336kms. Lee sent thirty pigeons and had twenty-nine back within four hours, with the last one returning the next morning. In fact Lee had four birds return together which will probably take the first four in the final result.

Micky Watts of Southminster was second open and second east section on 1616mpm over 337kms.
Baron Bros
Baron Bros of Redbourn were third open and first centre section on 1597mpm over a distance of 298kms. The brothers clocked a chequer hen bred from their Geerinckx family of pigeons and sent sitting eight day eggs.
A Wright and Daughter of Ipswich were fourth open and first north-east section on 1578mpm over 387kms.

Paul Arnold of North Cheam was fifth open and second centre section on 1565mpm over 266kms. Paul timed a natural cock that was his second bird home from the first Guernsey race when he was provisionally thirtieth open.
Ken Hine
Mr and Mrs Ken Hine of Hayes were sixth open and third centre section on 1555mpm over 272kms.
Mr and Mrs K Turner and Sons of Fingringhoe were seventh open and third east section on 1550mpm over 357kms. The partners timed a second pigeon in the top forty of the provisional result.
Mark Gilbert
Eighth open and fourth centre section was won by Mark Gilbert of Windsor on 1547mpm over 254kms.
Malik & Khan
Ninth open and fourth centre section went to Malik and Khan of Tolworth on 1542mpm over 264kms. the partners timed five pigeons in the top twenty of the result.
Completing the top ten and in Sixth centre section is Terry Smart of West Molesey on 1541mpm over a distance of 262kms.

Stephen Bennett
Stephen Bennett of Winterbourne was first west section on 1173mpm over 227kms. Stephen had thirteen of his sixteen entries on the day and first to time was bred from a direct son of Forest Jnr with the dam being from his Gerrit pair. The sire was bred by Nigel Templar of Bristol whilst the dam was bred by Mel Mayo.
Tomasz Fedyk
Tomasz Fedyk of Melksham was second west section on 1155mpm over 213kms. Tomasz clocked a blue chequer cock, the sire of which is Big Chubby Boy, his third open classic winner. The dam was purchased from Steve Slade.
Smith and Jones of Cwmbran were third west section.
Peter Wraight
P Wraight of Bluntisham was first north-centre section on 1444mpm over 365kms.
Slavek Treder of Bedford was second north-centre section on 1398mpm over 326kms.
Slawomir Chabrowski
Slawomir Chabrowski of Wellingborough was third north-centre section. Slawomir timed a pigeon bred by his friend Jan Zalejski of Poland.
Bob Saunders
Robert Saunders of Suffolk was second north-east section on 1522mpm over 446kms. Bob timed a young cock raced on the darkness and bred from two retired racers that he put to stock after they had won three prizes a piece.
John Gannon
J Gannon of Norwich was third north-east section. John had three out of three back from Guernsey, the first of which was a Corbett Busschaert bred by Louella Pigeon World.
Ian Barnbrook from Alveley was first north-west section on 1232mpm over 330kms.
Sire & dam of Booth & Roper's youngster
Booth and Roper of Tewkesbury were second north-west section on 1230mpm over 282kms. Their first bird home was a blue hen having her third race of the season and first channel race. She is bred from their old established Van den Bosche/ Dordin lines. Both her parents have raced very consistently in BICC races, with both taking first NW section this year.
Anthony Evans of Middlewich was third north-west section. Anthony timed four of his six entries within twenty-two minutes. All four cocks were bred from his Jan Polder family of Jan Aardens.
