First open and first centre section was a yearling on 799mpm over 528 miles for Mark Gilbert of Windsor. Mark timed a further nine pigeons in the top fifty of the provisional result and was also third, seventh, twelfth, ninteenth, twentieth, twenty-seventh, thirty-second, thirty-fourth and forty-sixth open. First on the clock was Southfield Jelle, bred from a son of Zwart Goud Jellema J when paired to a double first international Barcelona, a daughter of New Laueaat and Kleine Jade.

A J Hounsell of Portsmouth was second open and second centre section with a three year old on 769mpm over 489 miles.
Dave Hales & Duncan Goodchild
David Hales of Hockley was fourth open and first east section with a two year old on 697mpm over 534 miles. David timed a second pigeon, a yearling on 665mpm to also take eighth open and fourth east section. First on the clock was a red widowhood hen named Dave's Diva. The sire of Dave's Diva is Comfort Zone, first open Marseille and the grandsire if Tubby, David's outstanding racer. Second on the clock was a blue widowhood hen, Anniversary Girl. Anniversary Girl is a grand-daughter of Crowley and Green's Barcelona winner and of Jake, timed four years running from Barcelona at 709 miles.
Barrie Myhill of Dover was fifth open and second east section with a two year old on 688mpm over 501 miles.
Dean Childs
Dean Childs of Wickford clocked a two year old on 676mpm over 532 miles to take sixth open and third east section. Dean's winner was bred from his number one stock pair, Chalice King and Chalice Queen. This pair are already responsible for breeding first national St Vincent, fourth national Poitiers, twenty-third national Poitiers and now sixth national Agen. Chalice King is also is the father of last year's Pau National winner for Dean, Chalice Darcey. This hen, now named Chalice Olive, had already had five channel races this year in preparation for Agen and was sent looking at her cock bird.

Mr and Mrs P Kendal of Wantage were ninth open and fifth centre section with a five year old on 653mpm over 544 miles.
Bill Knox
Completing the top ten and in fifth east section are SR and WH Knox of Tyler Hill with a six year old on 647mpm over 544 miles.
Around the sections
Brooks Brothers & Wilcox
Brooks Brothers and Wilcox of Bristol were first west section and eleventh open with a two year old on 645mpm over 539 miles. This is the partners first section win since they went into the Brooks Brothers and Wilcox partnership and they timed Mendip Joshua. Joshua had a slow start to the season but in the last few weeks it has been nineteenth open Cholet, twenty-sixth open Poitiers and now eleventh open Agen. The sire is bred down from Isla's Rainy Day Boy, first international Pau and the dam was second section from Agen last season. The dam is bred down from Shapway Annie, first open Carentan, and Farm Boy. Both the sire and dam came from David and John Staddon.
David & John Staddon
David and John Staddon of Shepton Mallett were second west section with a yearling on 638mpm over 526 miles. The partners entered twelve yearlings and timed five on the winning day. First on the clock was a blue hen bred from a son of Mark Bulled's Legacy when paired to a daughter of Bill and Beryl Lewis' Freelands Gem, six times Tarbes Champion.
Geoff Cooper
Geoff and Catherine Cooper of Peasedown St John were third west section. Geoff and Catherine clocked a two year old chequer white flight cock who is a full brother to the hen which won 2nd section Pau International last week. The sire is a son of Mark Gilbert's Marseille cock and the dam is very good breeding daughter of George 1st Grand National Tarbes who is responsible for many top winners. Flown widowhood he has had all BICC National races where he has always came consistently. He has previously won club and combine positions.
John Black
John Black of Hitchin was first north-centre section and sixty-seventh open with a two year old on 495mpm over 564 miles.
Mick & Sue Smith
Mr and Mrs M Smith of Rushden were second north-centre section with a four year old on 456mpm over 584 miles.
