(01/04/2019) Final race Derby Arona One Loft Race 2019 (Update: gala dinner)
Friday March 29th, the final of the Derby Arona was raced in Tenerife. The first and second place go to Slovakia: Team Torysa is the winner of the Final Race 2019, Team Sadlak Vendelin & Andrej won the second place. The Belgian Team PEC of the PIPA Elite Center was third.
(14/04/2017) Team Leyen-Segers-Paloma Racing (Belgium) win the 2017 Derby Arona
The 2017 final of the Derby Arona, one of Europe's biggest one loft races, was held on Friday 24 March. This year's race was won by Team Leyen-Segers-Paloma Racing from Belgium, making it their second victory in three years' time after having taken the first prize in 2015.
(21/03/2016) Beniamin Neag (Austria) wins Derby Arona One Loft Race 2016!
The final of the 2016 Derby Arona race was flown on Friday 18 March. In sunny weather, 490 birds were released for a race distance of 275 km. After having flown nearly three hours, Lee Ray arrived as first of the flock and won the gold medal for Austrian fancier Beniamin Neag. UK fanciers Team Well Wag and Mark Gilbert won silver and bronze.
