(29/06/2018) Lubomir Kubacek (Bohunovice, CZ) wins first, second and third national from Krajkova against 28,131 pigeons

Lubomir Kubacek from the Czech Republic has once again triumphed, winning the first three positions in the national race from Krajkova against 28,131 pigeon and over a distance of 348 kilometres. This is yet another superb achievement by this young and ambitious fancier.

(28/06/2018) G. & S. Verkerk (Reeuwijk, NL) finish 1st, 2nd and 3rd of 13,628 pigeons in last week's NPO race from Sezanne

Gerard and Bas Verkerk pretty much dominated the NPO race from Sezanne last Saturday. They won a 1st, 2nd and 3rd of 13,268 pigeons, taking the entire podium. And on top of that, they had 12 pigeons in the top 20.

The pigeons of Bart and Jurgen are particularly fond of Argenton, and they showed this again last Saturday with a 1st Provincial of 3,025 yearlings and a 2nd Provincial of 1,457 old birds.

(28/06/2018) Jo Bauters (Gavere, BE) wins a 1st National Cahors of 6,356 pigeons with Totti

Jo Bauters from Gavere has skyrocketed to the highest level of pigeon racing in Belgium. His results have continued to improve dramatically since winning his first provincial victory in 2012. This national first prize from Cahors of 6,356 pigeons is another highlight in his career.

Le moins que l’on puisse dire, c’est que la colonie Philippens a démarré en trombe la saison 2018. Ce super tandem vient d’ailleurs de fêter sa 59e victoire provinciale sur le concours de Fays aux Loges (412km).

Patrick Vanoppen (52) and Carlo Luyten (54) have been racing as a combination in Herk-de-Stad since 2009. Their double provincial first prize from Gien shows that they have a strong group of breeders at their disposal.

(27/06/2018) Embregts-Theunis (Hoeven, NL) gets two top results in just 7 days: 1st NPO Argenton and 1st NPO Gien

Anyone who can read results must have noticed: the pigeon breed of Embregts-Theunis from Hoeven is pretty much outstanding this season. Led by caretaker Peter Theunis, this racing team has been victorious twice in just seven days' time: Argenton (596km) of 5,187 pigeons and Gien of 6,451 pigeons.

Stijn and Jeroen are a force to be reckoned with in the upcoming long distance races, having just won a 1st Prov. (589 p.), a 1st Zone B2 (2,408 p.), and a 2nd National (7,682 p.) from Valence with a fantastic prize percentage.

(20/06/2018) John Crehan (Salford, UK) aka 'The Manchester Maestro' wins first national Ancenis with Solo Warrior - his single entry

Six hundred and twenty-nine members entered five thousand, one hundred and sixty pigeons into the National Flying Club race from Ancenis on 16th June 2018. They were liberated at 07.10CEST and the winner was clocked seven hours, twenty-nine minutes and forty-six seconds later at the Salford loft of John Crehan, also known as The Manchester Maestro.

(18/06/2018) Jan Hooymans (Kerkdriel, NL) victorious both in the NPO one day long distance race from Gien and in Asse-Zellik last weekend

Jan Hooymans scored a two out of two this weekend: he took the win in the NPO one day long distance race from Gien with a son of Sister Harry, against 4,581 pigeons. And he was victorious again in Asse-Zellik, this time with a son of Harry Junior.

Une fois n'est pas coutume, c'est un amateur de la province du Luxembourg qui remporte la victoire nationale de Valence, deuxième concours de fond du calendrier national. Après de nombreux tops 10 nationaux, Dominique Culot remporte ainsi la première victoire nationale de sa carrière!

(15/06/2018) Freddy and Jacques Vandenheede (Zingem, BE) win 1st Prov. and 1st Zone A2 Chateauroux old birds

These prizes were won with their first nominated pigeon, a talented racing bird that won a 2nd Prov. Vierzon three weeks earlier. He is a grandson of the iconic breeder and 1st Nat. Ace Pigeon Longer Middle Distance KBDB 2010 New Freddy. The yearlings did great as well, starting with a 2nd Provincial, just like in Valence. It was a very successful weekend!

(13/06/2018) Adrien Mirabelle (Ghlin, BE) has an excellent start to the season with a 1st Provincial Limoges and 2 x top 20 zone

He has won 13 provincial and national titles over the past three seasons, and Adrien Mirabelle started the 2018 season with great flair as well. Numerous top results were won in Ghlin but the first real highlight of the year came on 2nd of June: a 1st Provincial Limoges, won by a highly talented bird with a remarkable pedigree.

It was another renowned Belgian pigeon fancier that has just won the first long distance classic on the national calendar: Limoges I, or the Paris-Roubaix of the Belgian pigeon racing competition.

(12/06/2018) Bart Geerinckx (Wommelgem, BE) wins 1st nat. zone Limoges

Team Geerinckx could not have hoped for a better start to the long distance season. They claimed a 1st nat. zone B1 of 4,551 pigeons, a 1st prov. Antwerp of 1,318 p. and a 3rd nat. of 15,783 p., which makes for quite a successful early season indeed.
