The Poussart loft is really impressive thanks to its phenomenal series of arrivals and the very high prize percentages, despite a chaotic start of the season. From 100 to 500 kilometers, the Poussart pigeons are real killers and it's extremely difficult to beat them.

Jo Bauters has been racing at a high level all season long, to a large extent thanks to the bloodline of Fabian, 1st National Poitiers 2014. He is also the sire of Ellis, 1st National Ace Pigeon Longer Middle Distance YBs 2016 and the best young bird in the PIPA ranking (3 and 4 races).

(11/08/2017) Anthony Maes (Waregem, BE) claims already his 3rd and 4th provincial victory from Chateauroux II and Argenton II

Anthony Maes now has four provincial first prizes to his name this season. His racing hen Cartouche claimed a double win from Tours in the yearlings' and old birds' race, and another two provincial first prizes were won in July: De Schicht wins a 1st Prov. Chateauroux and Sir Gaby takes a 1st Prov. Argenton II.

(11/08/2017) Roziers-Xiang (Itegem, BE) take revenge for last year's defeat with a 1st Nat. Bourges

This is quite something! The Roziers-Xiang combination missed out on a national victory in 2016 by a mere 13 seconds before eventually claiming a national victory in 2017 against 38,455 young birds in Bourges. Racing bird Gust was in fact the fastest of a total of 59,243 pigeons.

With just three pigeons in the basket Kristof Mortelmans wins a 1st, 9th and 63rd Provincial Marseille against 248 pigeons, with his first and second nominated taking the lead. This result shows that he is an exceptionally talented fancier in the extreme long distance in Belgium.

The team claimed a provincial victory young birds from Blois in the weekend of 22nd of July and they were victorious in the following week as well, claiming a zonal first prize from Tulle yearlings.

This is quite a feat: almost exactly one year after his national first prize from Bourges II against 10,111 yearlings in 2016 Ronny claims another victory. He is victorious in the 2017 race from Tulle against 9,586 yearlings, and his first prize winner is also the fastest of a total of 17,035 pigeons.

The pigeons from Houwaart are clearly in excellent form, having won first prizes at club level in all the most prominent races on the calendar. (24/07/2017) Gino Clicque (Wevelgem, BE) has a total of 20 pigeons in the national top 100 in Limoges and Jarnac

Gino Clicque is back on track after having been sidelined for a few weeks due to a bird flu outbreak. He went on to win a 6th National Limoges as well as a 6th, 7th and 8th National Jarnac, showing the true potential of his pigeon family.

The Leideman Brothers have been in excellent form in 2017, dominating almost the entire season. They have won 8 first prizes in big races but that was not enough: Bert and André have now excelled in the race from Gien in Zone 3 in the Northern Union as well, winning a 1st-5th-7th-8th-9th against 4,911 pigeons.

After his provincial first prize from Pau Etienne went on to win two provincial second prizes (2nd Prov. Agen and 2nd Prov. Barcelona) in two weeks' time, and he has now taken another provincial first prize, this time from St. Vincent. He confirms his status as a national champion in the extreme long distance.

(18/07/2017) Jan Hooymans (Kerdriel, NL) wins 1st NPO Bourges and obtains top class hen Yolanthe in much debated weekend

The unsurpassed Harry bloodline of Jan Hooymans has been victorious in the NPO race from Bourges against 4,814 pigeons: the one year old racing cock Baron Harry claimed victory and was almost victorious in the Northern Union as well against 14,322 pigeons. The pigeon that beat him was Yolanthe, winner of two first prizes. She was promptly transferred to the Hooymans breeding lofts.

(18/07/2017) Luc De Laere (Anzegem, BE) wins 1st Prov. Orleans and 1st Prov. Chateauroux in a single weekend!

It was bound to happen: he had already won four provincial second prizes earlier this season, and in the weekend of 8 July Luc has claimed a double win, taking a 1st Provincial from Orleans and Chateauroux. This adds to a total of no less than 25 provincial first prizes.

Two weeks after their marvellous NPO win from La Souterraine the Scheele Brothers claim another first prize: their racing bird Herman came out first in Province 1 Zeeland in the NPO race from Limoges.

They had to wait for six nights, but as soon as Hugo Batenburg's one year old birds for Agen were released from their baskets there was nothing that could hold them back. Hugo, the unofficial king of the extreme long distance, claims a 1st and 5th National against almost 6,000 pigeons, as well as 9 top 100 placings.

No other loft in The Netherlands has made such an impression as that of the Leideman brothers. They have won eight first prizes in major races so far, against 3,000 pigeons on average. They often have several pigeons in the top 10 as well, which shows that they are particularly strong these days.
