16/06/2019 - In a season of extremes Marcel Sangers has turned out to be a consistent performer, claiming top results at the highest level! With the last sprint of the old birds' race competition done and dusted, the multi-winner from Eefde is now 1st not nominated and 2nd nominated in the regional sprint championship.
19/05/2020 - Team Sangers is always a force to be reckoned with at international level. They have been racing at the highest level season after season, with the help of some of the best performing Van Den Bulck pigeons, and the world's most comprehensive collection of Stefaan Lambrechts birds.
20/01/2019 - The Sangers pigeons were phenomenal in 2018, much to the despair of their opponents. Marcel was able to create a tough to beat pigeon breed, based around his famous Super Breeder bloodline, combined with the best of Van Den Bulck and Lambrechts. It was the key to some sensational results.

19/05/2018 - The level of dominance from Marcel and Brian Sangers in Niergnies (306km) was nothing short of impressive.They claimed a double first prize in a strong headwind and with an additional 40km to cover, while also having 6 pigeons in the top 8 of more than 7,000 competitors. Their racing birds are quite special indeed. Racing hen Niki (a direct Flanders Collection and a 100% Van den Bulck) even took a 3 minute lead over the main pack!
30/04/2018 - As if they had skipped autumn and winter, Marcel and Brian Sangers simply continued where they had left off in the end of 2017: by winning races! Team Sangers is in great form, and went on to win a first prize from Tienen of 2,450 pigeons and an impressive 1-5-6-7-12-19-22-23-24-25, etc. The first prize went to a 100% descendant of Dirk Van den Bulck's super class breed.
09/04/2018 - The Philippines have lost an iconic pigeon fancier. The chairman of the Philippine Homing Pigeon Association (PHA) passed away on the 5th of April. Mr. Ung has been a constant supporter and buyer of the PIPA Manila Auction.
29/10/2017 - The Sangers-Ung pigeon loft has seen a considerable increase in performance just two years after introducing their Van Den Bulck pigeons. Sangers x Van Den Bulck proved a winning combination: these invaluable bloodlines have really paid off, with the team claiming a 3rd and 15th Nat. Ace Pigeon Middle Distance in the "De Allerbeste" competition, along with ten first prizes in 2017.
09/09/2017 - The racing team of Marcel Sangers and Paul Ung have shown their impressive potential for the second consecutive week! Following their 3rd-4-th-5th-6th-7th-8th-10th against 5,079 pigeons the successful combination now claims the seven first prizes against more than 10,000 pigeons.
14/06/2017 - Marcel Sangers has done it again! He excelled two weeks in a row winning a 1st Chalons En Champagne 5,940 p. and a 1st-2nd-3rd Epernay 1,178 p. Over the past two weeks his new success formula has really shown its true potential: the renowned Superkweker bloodline has been paired up with the very best pigeons of Belgian champion Dirk Van Den Bulck.
08/01/2014 - Marcel Sangers and his assistant Paul Ung auctioned all old racing birds and all breeding birds in early 2013 and they now have a new challenge ahead: the creation of a super class loft. This will not be an easy task, particularly because both fanciers were truly outstanding from 2005 to 2011.

20/01/2013 - A few minutes ago one of the most sensational auctions of this season started, that of the best Dutch one day long distance loft Marcel Sangers. All his breeders, his entire racing team and a selection of (many inbred) youngsters are sold in an auction that is bound to become legendary … keyword; quality of the next level.

30/08/2012 - Marcel did not have a great start to the season. Still he managed to be awarded as regional nominated champion one day long distance and 6th provincial. A nice comeback! But this was not his only achievement in this successful 2012 season!

13/01/2012 - Having just finished an exceptional season in the NPO classics, Marcel Sangers and Paul Ung continue to reap in the different National competitions. After a 4° in the Championship one-day long distance NPO and a 3° in the Nat. Ace pigeon one-day long distance NPO, the duo from Eefdees can now be regarded as one of the big earners in the Europa Cup with the 1° and 3° Dutch pigeon!
14/09/2011 - The richly filled prize cabinet of the Dutch super extreme middle distance Marcel Sangers will have to house a lot more silver in 2011 … with five super results from five NPO extreme middle distance possibilities, no other Dutch fancier can stand in his shadow. And so the title National champions seems to be fated to end up in Eefde!

After their ‘monster score’ from National Blois it can be said that Marcel Sangers and Paul Ung have been successful in their mission – again!

09/06/2009 - Winning in the northern section of the NPO classic Chateaudun, Marcel Sangers once more proves the exceptional quality of his top class colony in one day long distance racing. Two weeks ago on the NPO classic Orleans he already listed a top performance, winning 16th and 18th from 15,500 birds!
