11/06/2014 - Astere Vergotte was almost bound to take a national win one day, being one of the leading men in the competition who achieves impressive overall results every week, including regular top prizes. The deserved victory eventually came last weekend with a national win from Chateauroux!

06/07/2012 - Last Saturday 30th of June we had lots of showers heading over from west to east. In between showers the pigeons were liberated and the races ran a smooth course. Except for Agen-Bordeaux, where pigeons on the west side had to deal with heavy showers that came on shore from the west.

31/07/2009 - Astere Vergotte has belonged to the absolute top racers in the middle distance and ‘grand middle distance’ for years… and is what people in pigeon terms call, an ‘established value’!
