The international race from Agen, including 875 birds from 181 fanciers in the UK that were sent with the British International Championship Club were held over for four days due to bad weather. They were liberated at 07.00CEST on Tuesday 4th July into blue skies and a clear line of flight. The following is a report on the provisional result based on members' verifications.

(26/06/2017) A report on the British International Championship Club race from Mont-de-Marsan in conjunction with the International Colombe Joyeuse race on 24th June 2017

130 members entered 508 pigeons into the British International Championship Club race from Pau in conjunction with the international. Due to poor weather the birds were moved back to Mont-de-Marsan and after a one day holdover they were liberated at 07.35CEST into west north-westerly winds. John Chipperfield of Herne Bay was first open and first east section with a yearling on 1515mpm over 345 miles in the first race from Poitiers with the British International Championship Club. John's winner was a Jan Aarden containing Batenburg-van de Merwe bloodlines.
