Johan Bleyen (Lommel, BE) stunts again with 1° Prov Argenton Yearlings.

After Johan Bleyen had already won 2 x 1° Nat Zone C Bourges, and 2° Nat La Châtre o.b. earlier in the season, he now won from Argenton 1 + 4 provincial with the same 2 yearlings which previously won 4th + 13th National Bourges!

The colony of Johan Bleyen can’t be kept out of the news in 2011. Johan (45 y) enjoys the advantage of being able to concentrate on the pigeon sport full-time. He doesn’t care either how much it costs to populate his colony… in 2007 he left for the total auction of Heremans-Ceusters with a fat wallet and bought 12 pigeons. He also obtained reinforcements by Jos Haesendonckx from Grobbendonk, whose colony is based on those same Heremans-Ceusters pigeons. Pigeons also came from Vanmeerbergen-Van Reet from Mol, Dierickx-Vissers from Zele, Jan Diels from Vorselaar, and fellow club member and 1st Nat La Châtre-winner Johnny Janssens from Eksel .

From this Johan formed 30 breeding couples, and with a 36 head team of widowers he currently bombards the opposition in the classics of the grand middle distance! And this in a dominating, or better said ‘over classing’ manner :

His nest brother ‘The 49’ B08-5045049 has also performed excellently up to now, with the clapper naturally being the winning of the 4th Nat. Bourges 224.651 p. and the 2° Nat Zone C 8.439 p., 2nd Prov 3.523 p. etc… (see pedigree) also beaten by his loft companion and own nest brother ‘The 50’!

With such a wealth of top talent in the lofts, Johan Bleyen steamed through to the absolute top of our national middle distance top! A success story which will probably have a few more chapters in the future!
