Maud
As you may have seen in the overview above, Maud was one of the top racers in the 2022 season. Maud became 1st Provincial Ace Pigeon and 6th National Ace Pigeon Heavy Middle Distance Old birds. She was bred from the pair The Last Boxer x Rainbow.
The Last Boxer is a son of the famous top breeder Boxer 01 of the De Troy family, father of several provincial winners and top racers. Mother of The Last Boxer is Manuella, a full sister of Marianne, 2nd National Ace Pigeon Heavy Middle Distance 2007.
Mother of Maud is Rainbow, a direct Engels J. & J. She is daughter of a Son of Den As and a Half-sister of Den Argenton. Den As became 5th National Ace Pigeon Long Distance for the Engels brothers in 2009 and also won 1st National Argenton.
Moonfall
Another hen which performed exceptionally last season was Moonfall. She became a/o 5th Provincial Ace Pigeon Heavy Middle Distance KBDB and won 3rd and 6th in the ranking of best old bird across respectively 7 and 6 national heavy middle distance races.
Father of Moonfall is Hannibal, a son of Keesboer 863 x Gouda. Mother is Heaven, a daughter of Kleine Grijze x Monalisa.
Lucky Number 6
The old bird team managed to win the title of 2nd National Champion Heavy Middle Distance Old birds but the young birds followed their example and took the title of 2nd National Champion Heavy Middle Distance Young birds.
Amongst others, the young hen Lucky Number 6 contributed to winning this title. Lucky Number 6 herself became 2nd National Ace Pigeon KBDB Heavy Middle Distance Young birds 2022 and 3rd Provincial Ace Pigeon Heavy Middle Distance Young birds.

Lucky Number 6 is a daughter of Den 102, a grandson of Keesboer 863 who himself was a good racer and continued to be successful on the breeding loft as well.
Mother is Black Marianne (26th Nat. Ace Pigeon Heavy Middle Distance 2013), a daughter of the pair Junior Boxer (son Boxer 01) x Black Velvet (another sister of Marianne, 2nd Nat. Ace Pigeon Heavy Middle Distance 2007).
Bugatti
Another figurehead of the 2022 young birds team and co-winner of title 2nd National Champions Heavy Middle Distance KBDB Young birds 2022 is Bugatti. This crack became 2nd Prov. Ace Pigeon Heavy Middle Distance Young birds and 3rd Nat. Ace Pigeon Heavy Middle Distance Young birds KBDB. Bugatti was also the 2nd Best Young bird across 4 National Heavy Middle Distance races.
These titles were won after achieving the following prizes:

Father of Bugatti is Limotornado, a direct Jos & Jules Engels cock. Limotornado in turn is a son of the 'Tornadokoppel' (Tornado Pair) of Van Eynde-Govaerts and daughter Junior 178, a half-sister of de Limoges (1st Nat. Limoges).
Mother of Bugatti is Miss Laurette, a direct Gaston Van De Wouwer pigeon with several National Top 100 results on her palmares.
Having discussed top racers behind the old birds title (Maud & Moonfall) and the young birds title (Lucky Number 6 & Bugatti) we havent mentioned all the exceptional racers from the past season. There were more pigeons who with phenomenal results.

This yearling hen flew several top results on heavy middle distance races, including a zonal victory on La Souterraine.

Spectacular results
It seems as if these spectacular results are becoming a De Troy tradition. Starting with the 1st, 2nd and 3rd National Argenton with young birds in 2020, occupying the whole podium. In 2021, 2 national victories followed; 1st Nat. Limoges II Yearlings and the 1st Nat. Argenton Old birds.
2022 was the year of phenomenal results at national and provincial championships and ace pigeon competitions...
