We have already written a lot about the breeding phenomenon Milos – a wonderful breeder for the international classics that belongs to Michel Verweij and Peter de Haan. A very large part of all the successes scored in their own but also in many other lofts are thanks to this wonder-bird. Milos has already produced by now 3 generations of international Ace pigeons in his own loft. All 3 of these pigeons are hens in 3 consecutive generations:
On the two links right below you can read again the most important highlights achieved with descendants of Milos:
• Comb. Verweij de Haan (Mijdrecht, NL) once more at the top with the next generation of the breeding phenomenon Milos, the two ladies.
• Comb. Verweij de Haan (Mijdrecht, NL) show their absolute class again with the Milos-dynasty in the extremely difficult marathon flights, in 2019.
Then you get to hear the final ranking "World Best Pigeon Marathon 2020", organized by the FCI (world organization for racing pigeons) and… voila! The name Milos pops up again .... At this final ranking, the Romanian Constantin Stoian wins vice-world champion with the RO-18-4061444. Both parents of this pigeon have a strong kinship with the breeding phenomenon Milos. We introduce this top-bird to you in more detail below.
With the results you can see above, this pigeon won 2nd in the final rankings. As already mentioned, there is an important contribution from Milos to both parents of this bird. The father is a great-grandchild of Milos x daughter Toon. The mother is also a great-grandchild of Milos, this time coupled to MG780. MG780 in its turn, has also made an important contribution to the pedigree of the vice world champion, since the vice world champion grandmother is inbred precisely to MG780.
With this descendant, another diamond sparkles on Milos' already impressive crown.
