Leo & Gerry Dockx (Koningshooikt, BE): thanks to Gaston Van de Wouwer and his golden Kaasboer bloodline

The Kaasboer dynasty is now a thing of the past, at least in the lofts in Berlaar. However, its descendants will most likely continue to achieve great results in the next several years in pigeon lofts across the globe, and especially in China.

PIPA & Gaston van de Wouwer worked together for the first time in 2009, when two youngsters of Kaasboer were sold for 3,000 to 4,000 euro per bird. Kaasboer was only known in the Antwerp region at the time but he would soon turn into one of the most famous pigeons of all time. The ten year collaboration between the Van de Wouwer family and PIPA led to a fantastic apotheosis just a while ago: the 445 pigeons were sold for a record 9,551,200 euro, or an average of 20,992 euro per bird.

Leo & Gerry Dockx got in touch with Gaston Van de Wouwer already in 2008. They received a lot of good advice, and they also got to know the Kaasboer bloodline, which already had an international reputation at the time. That's right, pigeon fanciers from across the globe considered Gaston's pigeons to be the best of the best. And some fanciers would almost worship Gaston for his incredible craftsmanship. It was thanks to Van de Wouwer, his invaluable advice and his pigeons that the Dockx family could start writing their own success story in pigeon racing. We introduce you to some of their biggest stars, and their pedigree leads us straight to Gaston Van de Wouwer.

Strong results in Noyon

The top results in Noyon were won by their (grand)sons Niels & Dries. One of their prize winners was BE19-6098641, a 1st Ace Pigeon Mijlstraat Noyon. We take a look at his results in Noyon:

New Kim made the international headlines because she was sold for a record 1,600,000 euro in our PIPA auction, making her the most expensive hen ever. And her bloodlines can clearly be seen in the pedigree of BE19-6098846.

And while we are on the topic of Niels and Dries's remarkable results in Noyon: nest mates BE20-6201799 + 800 are first prize winners too. And their parents originate from the bloodline of Laura & Palme d'or.
